I must say this first: you could have won this round. Because I think your Toa CAN carry that axe, if you have him lay it on its shoulders. And that first shot with the axe was an eye-opener for sure. In the end I think you simply didn't think your presentation through, so I'll have to vote for your opponent. Keep it up! (the axe)

Im not sure what you meant by "you followed the category better." Round one is about toa. Your subcategory is to make a toa with an oversized weapon. The emphasis is still the toa. When your opponent posted his moc I thought he failed to amke an impressive toa as such he can be upset in the eyes of the judges. Unfortunately, it seems you concentrated on the weapon more than the toa who will wield it. In your case, I dont see anyway your toa can be posed lifting his OVERsized axe. I have to vote for your opponent.

Dang. I did not know a weapon could even be that long. That is awesome! I also like how the weapon actually looks like a weapon (with the beam peices on it making it look silverish). The MOC itself isn't looking bad at all too! Good work! :D

Interesting creation! While she is mostly all-black, the white detail like the mask really suits her! The weapon is just... gigantic, and many times better than the version you showed on flickr! Good luck in the contest!
