Enjoyable Delivery Van and Tastefully Designed Wagon
1950 Delivey Van and 1959(ish) Station Wagon. Both generics.
About this creation
I present you vehicles number 19 and 20 (TaŽdaa!) for the MegaMOC 2012!

First off a 1950 Coca Cola delivery van for those ice-cold refreshing drinks!

Secondly, what could be a 1959 Ford Fairlane Fordor Ranch Wagon;

While I find most of the cars from that epoque stunningly beautiful, many different trends, styles and tastes emerged all at the same time, and was -unfortunatly- sometimes mixed and blended by the desginers.
So let this car be a monument to the humongous desing-failures that was also done during these years, mixing too much of the good together; Wooden-style panels, two-tone body paint, white-wall tires, painted matching hubcaps, panoramic windscreen, partly covered rear wheels, huge metal bumpers, grotesque Texas-style longhorn ornament.
You name it; This carŽs got it! Tasteless galore!
This is truly the car "Build for Homer".
-Or maybe what the "Wagon Queen Family Truckster" would have looked like 25 years earlier...

PS. The "Longhorn" was blogged by The Brothers Brick on 30/6-2012!

I love the horns on the station wagon. I've actually seen cars like that in Texas. Absolutely wild. I can't wait to see the final product that all these cars are for.

Quoting Michael Rutherford That delivery truck really harkens back to some of Legos early wooden toys. As always, I'm awestruck at the detail and the forms you capture in such a small vehicle. When do we get to see the whole fleet?
YouŽre right Michael; The round #20 really calls for a group-photo. IŽll get on to it! Thanks!
