Lol! Idk, i've heard of island creation myths involving snakes, serpents/dragons and giants as well. ;) But i guess turtles are both at home in the sea and on land, so they are the ideal animal symbol for islands. It doesn't hurt that their shells look very island-like too! Thanks! That's exactly what i was going for, a sense of foreboding and a sinister watching presence. I'm glad that came across to you! :)

Most times landscapeing makes the MOC, but in this case landscaping is the MOC! I can't get over how great that shell looks, it would have been nice to see the MOC expanded, but it's still amazing the way it is! Great build.
