This is my round one entry to the 2012 Bio-Cup, the theme I was given was (17) a combining Toa. Also, just to clarify something, it said the Toa could conist of smaller creatures which combine with eachother, I chose this, the combination with the inika was purely for demonstration.
About this creation
Zaelyn, not your average female Toa, her body can split into smaller creatures called Nexum's which can then be used as weapons to boost another beings powers. Nexum's were invented by the evil Nexus and manipulated for use by the Toa army.
If I understand correctly it's an armament system that ca either be mounted on a Toa frame or form a Toa by itself. Very original. I think if you had made it so that it could combine with a complete Toa insteat of an empty frame it would have been more complete, and the "larmor pieces" would not have looked so much like simple HF armor piece (which I see they are not, but you get my point). I vote for your opponet. His entry was less original, but better built and presented.
Nice work on her! She has a very clean look, and the design ideas are also great! Just a thing I don't understand: Weren't we supposed to build a combiner that means like two (or more) creations in one, and not a small creation that can adapt some armor? Anyway, good work, and good luck... against me :P
That is freaking amazing! All those individual mechanical appliances conglomerating into a toa of epic-sauce! Your designs are freaking incredible, and my favorite part has got to be the mini sentry pod. Boss. Epic. Beast. Beb. That is the description of your Moc.
Fantastic entry! I love the look and how you did the combiner. I have an idea about the uploader. It could be that your pictures are too big. If you go into an editing software of some kind there will probably be a resize button. Click it and change the width dimension to 800. If it doesn't automatically change the length to something when the width is changed you will need to do it yourself. If it is a picture you took holding the camera in a flat position or what you could call a normal position with the button up on top, then when you change the width to 800 change the length to 600. If the shot was taken in a position where you had the camera turned sideways the the length should be a little somewhere over 1000, try experimenting with numbers a little over 1000 until you get a satisfactory size where it looks good. Don't worry about this making your photos tiny, MOCpages automatically resizes any photo that isn't too big to fit what you need. If this does not help you can say "you got it wrong!!" to me and Gibbs slap me to relieve some stress, but I'm pretty sure it will work as it worked for me. :)
Nice combiner, I love the custom torso design, but the only flaw I see is that the combining part is a bit too simple. You could've done something with the way the body transforms. Either way, good luck, Vorred is going to have a great challenge :)
