My entry to the Octopus Building Challenge. I re-worked on it soon after I posted it here, and I prefer the "ameliorated" version of Octi from far. I turned him into a barbecue chef. Thanks to Halhi 141 for his quick feedback on this model: it really helped me out.
About this creation
I really like the barbecue.
No more top hat: now it's a chef hat.
Hope you like the new version of Octi. If you do, please "Like" it on Rebrick. Here's the link:

May I ask you: What would make it better?
It seems to have a lot of grey on the arms, which would look better if this was covered up. It would also be better if it was completely studless.
I'll try to cover the tentacles in some way. I'll see if I can do something about the studs. Thanks for your quick feedback. Do you think it would look better if it was holding something in its tentacles?

Looks great, good luck in the contest! 6742 is a bit of a small set for something with so many arms to build. Perhaps it could make 5867. A little challenge for it ;)
Yeah, but the rules say that the model must not exceed the 32x32 baseplate. A Mini is the maximum I can use. May I ask you: what would make it better?
