Dalnog
The stout Miner
About this creation
name: Dalnog BoulderShoulder.

species: Dwarf.

alignment: Lawful good.

age: 340 (Dwarves have an average lifespan of 500)

occupation: Miner, craftsman.

abilities: A natural affinity with metals.

weapons: His battle axe.

appearance: Stout, broad, stern visage.

hair color: greying brown.

eye color: Grey(lego doesn't have grey eyes so the result is green)

height: 4'5"

armor: Heavy mithril plate armor.

personality traits: Like most Dwarves he is stern, stubborn, and grumpy. But also very trustworthy, patient, and ultimately, loyal.

bio: As a child Dalnog was always working with his hands, because of this his father (Bolgor BoulderShoulder) put him in smithy training early on. Dalnog proved to be a great with his smithy hammer, bringing great pride to his clan and father. But after many years working in the forge, Dalnog wanted a little more excitement(although he always felt the tingle of pride every time he completed a shiny mithril weapon)in his coped up life. His father, now an old greybeard, recognized this, and had Dalnog join the mining parties of clan BoulderShoulder! Dalnog rejoiced at the news, and was given the job as forward guardsman, when in the deep tunnels, and completed this task with finesse. Although he always went back to the forge when home. Dalnog's life was a contented one, and even when his elderly father died (At the ripe age of 512!) Dalnog was still happy with life. A 600 strong Donrulath raiding party ended that happiness. The vile shadowlings ambushed the large clan of Dwaves, numbering 700, and in the ensuing carnage dwindled their numbers down to 300! (Although the Dwarves were still the victors of the fight) After the battle the stoic Dwarves of clan BoulderShoulder resumed their old lives, and on a mining expedition, Dalnog happened upon a rouge Donrulath. Roaring with outrage at the sight of one of the creatures, Dalnog crashed into the unsuspecting Jaivonn! Jaivonn had long ago given up the dark ways of his people, but the angry Dwarf was not here to ask questions! The two fought on for many minutes, Jaivonn finally gaining the upper hand, using the hilts of his swords to knock out the crazed Dwarf. When he awoke Dalnog found himself bound by heavy rope, propped up against a boulder and Jaivonn sitting across from him. The dwarf grumbled, as Jaivonn began to say how he was not evil like many of his dark kin, but as the story unfolded the stubborn dwarf began to hear the sincerity of the words. Jaivonn unbound him and after a few more meetings, the two became acquaintances, after a few years close friends. Dalnog is now the leader of his still small, but growing clan, and is a great friend of Jaivonn.

Whew! That was my first lengthy bio! It also happens to be the first bio for a character of my universe, so yay =) Onto the moc!

Showing off his marvelous axe

About to give some shadowling a real close look at his finely crafted weapon...

The outcome if Jaivonn hadn't won the battle in the mines, ouch!

Where are all of my figures!?!
*whistling innocently*

A comparison with Jaivonn

When we're done here I'm taking my fingers back...
Bah! Ye'll 'ave to take 'em from me cold dead body 'afore I'd be givven 'em to ye!

I really like how his axe turned out, although the holes in the handle are kinda annoying...

And now for a few close ups

I'll be choppen off a few 'eads if ye don't be liken me page!
(It's his way of saying goodbye)

Fourth wall:
I have had this particular character around for years! I mean he goes way back to Inika bodies!(so around three, almost four, years ago) Back then though, he was a toa of Iron, and his name was Iron hide (yeah, really original huh?) Anyways though he kept on getting upgraded until he got to this point. He's a little tall for a Dwarf when compared to Jaivonn, but in reality he's pretty darn close to size accuracy(Jaivonn only stands at 5'6", Donrulath aren't very tall) Anyways though, he was a fun, although simple, build, and I may do more Dwarf builds in the future!
Rating and C&C appreciated =)
