My second attempt at a LEGO gun. It looks pretty good, not much compared to most of the other guns on MOCpages, but still decently realistic.
About this creation

Alternate view 1. This is a massive improvement from my first gun, a generic pistol.

Alternate view 2. My original gun had several issues, including messed-up colors and an inaccurate barrel.

Close-up of the lower parts of the gun.

Here's a cool feature (which, unfortunately, is inaccurate). You see that pin? You pull it back, and...

Tada! The clip comes out! This is inaccurate because handguns are the only firearms (that I know of) to have clips in their handles.

Artistic shot. That clip on the bottom is for attachments. I will upload said attachments later.
b
Ironsights. These don't work too well because the triangle thingy on the end of the barrel blocks them.

Other end of the sights. As with my pistol, this was not designed after any specific model, so if you're a big gun person and there's a real gun that this happens to look like, please let me know. ;)

Detail shot. These 4 studs were just thrown in for added detail, as with the special bricks in the right of the picture.

Working mode switch. I don't have any letter tiles, but just pretend that the switch can be moved from safety to semi-auto to full auto. :)

This is probably also an inaccurate bit on this gun. You pull this pin...

And the stock comes out. This also allows the stock to be adjusted to different lengths...

Like so. The rear section of this gun looks the best IMO.

Overhead view. Looks a bit like a shotgun from here. ;)

And finally, me holding it. One thing that really bugged me was that I didn't have the parts to make this thing a more realistic size. It still looks OK in real life, though.

And that's it for my new SMG! I put the word "concept" in the title because as with my other concepts, this SMG has major potential to be redone and made into a "real thing, not a concept". It's pretty interesting how this got started: at first it was just another attempt at making a missile launcher easier to hold/use, and then it got bigger and bigger...and now this. Constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated since I'm still new to this whole LEGO gun thing. Thanks! ~Justin

To speak the truth,It looks like a cross between an UZI and a Mauser C96.The Uzi serise and Mac-10/11 also are designed to have rounds fed through the grip and theyre both SMGs (Actually the MAC-10 is a machine-pistol). And the SMG you made.....its a decent start but A:You should try and make it bigger and B:why not try cross overs? like take an AK-47 and combine it with an m16 and you'll have something pretty cool.

1. Thanks for your knowledge of guns! 2. Also thanks for the advice! I'll try to incorporate what you said into later weapons.
