"A Wizard, Is Never Late"
"Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he likes." When I saw the new Gandalf arrives set, I wanted to build my own version of his wagon.....Cart..... Thing. Enjoy!
About this creation
Frodo jumping into Gandalfs cart.

My book design. Like it? :)

Without the cart. I didn't want to make just a plain old cart, so I added a bit of landscape as well, to help get into the feeling.

A sprouting tree, later to become a strong oak.

The tree, and Frodo jumping. I tried to get better pictures, but I stink at taking pictures of trees. (At least lego ones)

Now, onto the whole reason I built this moc, the cart. It was difficult, but the most hardest part was getting the rails to go at a slant. I almost used Legos version, but didn't want to cheat, so I made my own technique. :3

I tried to get some good pics of the cart, but again, in this area I am mentally challenged.

So, the back of the cart. nothing much here except that...

The back thing can swivel open and close. Before you ask, the book is from an old Harry Potter set.

A shot of the harness and seat situation.

Here's how I got the rails to slant. ^U^ I happy 'bout 'em. :)

Here's the wheel contraption, also my own design. I didn't want to use a lego made piece because, well, that would be too easy! :D

The wheels each are on a stick. One normal cane, and a stunted cane from the collectible mini-figs.

Hope You Enjoyed! Thanks For Looking!

Quoting Builder Allan Nice scene! Good work making a different design for the cart :-) I also like your book-idea, nice and small compared to LEGOs versions. Oh, thanks for your comments! I was wrong about which builds my cat appears in - he is present in full in the last photo of this post -> http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/339615
Yeah, I noticed that ;) Thanks!

Quoting Jorden Davis Awesome! I really like the landscape...looks just like the movie! The cart design is very clever, I like how the back opens! Just one little complaint: I think that it was too bright when you took the pictures. Are you using a white background, or are you editing out a different background? It looks nice and professional, but the edges of some pictures fade into brightness...If you use lamps, are you softening them with paper? I'm just wondering about your setup. The MOC is great! Just needs a little work on presentation (I know, get the plank out of your own eye...my pics aren't the best, but I think you would like honest feedback, I know I would). Once again, great MOC!
Thanks Jorden! My set-up is currently a big white poster board, with all the room light's on, and two lamps, softened by a piece of paper each. I use a webcam for taking the pictures. :D Your pictures are just as good as, if not better, than mine, methinks. And I know what you mean on presentation, I'm still trying to get good pics of my stuff without making them look all funky. Thanks Again! God Bless ~ David.
