RC Remote-Controlled Bionicle Car
About this creation
Hi Guys! I'm here with a moc I made a while ago, before the summer, that I put an intresting twist on. Before I biult it, I went to my brother's Robotics Spagetti Dinner. Of course, we ate spagetti, but I looked at other people's robots; my school's robots to be specific. They control robots and they tried to give me some control of the robot, twice. But sadly, they're robot was malafunctioning, and I was Jealous of them having a robot that could do stuff and I didn't. Although they tried to have me control it so it wasn't a selfish act. My ideas to biuld this, a Bionicle made out of our old friends from the past that were remote controled. So, gentlemen, I give you a creation to have something that was brought back.......

THE RED RC BIONICLE CAR!!!!!

Actually works!

Two things to start off. First, you may have noticed all the pics are just a little blurry. To be honest, I'm trying to fix that. One problem is I don't know or can't turn off my flash on my digital camera (It's a small NIKON camera if you wanted to know what type). Flash may look like it's helping, but really, I would like to have the flash off so I couldn't see any shadows in the background. That's why I did it outside so there would already be light outside so Flash would be automatically turned off to get a nice, clear picture. So if you can help me with my camera a bit, which I don't know how you're going to do that, that would be nice. BTW, I don't request that from somebody I just thought it would be nice to ask. Second thing to say, yes, you have seen this moc on the picture representing the vehicles for "The Sequled Tournamocoff Round 2". I did say this was going to get posted and I'm right! LOL anyway, This thing won't have some story to share which may relate to my next story (coming soon, you'll love it, just as soon as I can have more set-up for Chapter 1). So yeah, let's just enoy the moc created to help my Jealously of Robots!

So here is the controller. LOL Fake antena, but yeah. Makes things intresting.

For some odd reason, the controller will only work if this little switch is set to all. I don't know, but 'm ok with that! :D

LOL Fake antena again!

The Vehicle itself. Sorry there is no rider, but some toa creations of mine can ride it.

Different angle

Back View

While looking at the front view we can see the motor that controls it.

Yep, there's a fake antena on this one too! LOL Probobly should have rotated it though.

Here, we can see the vehicles have been torked to have more power but less speed (The other way around would'nt work. I tried it, but maybe plastic peices need more force on them).

We have the silver seat the rider would sit on.

This? This is for something on the front. Those claw things on the front that you'll see 10 pictures later move if the vehicle is. Making it some sort of a.....I don't know.......Digger?........Yeah.......

This gray peice was supposed to have more structure to it.

Back of the vehicle shows more to the "unravel" of the diggers.

From here, we can see the sides of the wheels. One really has no purpose but the other is controled by the RC motor.

And to be honest, sometimes this back wheel could have no purpose as well. Only if it's on a completley flat surface. but is still useful on carpet.

Here, we got our handles for the rider.

More of the seat.

This is supposed to be holding the batteries needed for the vehicle......

As you can see.

I guess more plate armor is being shown here.

And..........more structure of the vehicle is shown here............yeah, let's go with that.......So far I've only just showing random pics so far. Still, I think you get the picture.

And here we have a full view of the vehicle and how the controls work, in the next pics.

You have to push this gear first in order to activate it and then you can use the remote to move it.

So now here's the controls:

Push down both bottom buttons in order to make the vehicle move foward.

Push down both top buttons in order to make the vehicle move backwards.

Press only this button (The one I'm pointing at) to turn right.

Push that same button and the top right button to have more power in turning right. At most times, these controls will not work.

And of course do what i'm doing for vice-versa.

Turning the switch at "1" will make the controls do nothing. As mentioned before, the controller will work only if the switch is at "All". It even won't work if set to "2" or "3".

So it will work if the switch was like this.

Before I go, one last thing: The Rider's Test! To see which of my mocs can ride this self-controlled car.

THE RIDER'S TEST!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Can Meton ride the vehicle?

A: YES!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Can Lyrix ride the vehicle?

A: YES! But hand gripping is questionable.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Can My Version of Cossy ride the vehicle?

A: YES!

But...........the point?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Can Bonax ride the vehicle?

A: YES! But you can't technically "attach" him to the vehicle.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Can Chuvil ride the vehicle?

A: YES!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: And finally, can Astromunus, the future rider of the next vehicle that's going to get posted soon, ride the vehicle?

A: YES!!!!

Turns out all characters, except Ragorok, can ride this thing! OH HAPPY JOY! :D Well, that's all for today! Please do get the word out that there will be another vehicle coming out soon and will be posted soon! To all of the contestants of my Contest The Sequled Torunamocoff, consider this an example of a vehicle that could be built for today's theme.

Ok, see ya later! :D

A remote controlled Bionicle vehicle? I never seen that before. It looks great too.

Nice work, love that it's just the right size to operate as a full-scale vehicle for the average release-size MOC. Awesome!

Quoting Wertman 8 WOWZA! Love the Vehicle, but, eh... I FORGOT TO JUDGE AGAIN!!! I think its best for me to not be in that group. Sorry about that. anyway, nice MOC!!
Maybe it's just too hard for you to remember all this. You may resign if you want. :)

Quoting Magith Films It should work if it has a video mode. Then just post the video to Youtube and link it on the page.
This is the second tempting source of me to get a youtube account XD

Quoting SuperSpy X Pretty good, although I think you should of eliminated the middle wheels. By the way, that is a four channel remote and motor, meaning you can have four independent motor/remote sets, that switch is the channel selector. The selectors on the remote and motor must be set to the same number or it won't work, like you found out.
First, I'll think about the middle wheels. Second, thank you for the controller advice. :)

Quoting Magith Films Can you post a video of the car actually moving?
I wish man, but I don't know how. Would posting a video made by a digital camera work?
