"This world is… odd. It looks like a battlefield, but the environment is lush and green. Whatever happened here was a long time ago. I have seen many strange worlds in my time, but this world is stranger still. I don't like this place. Something happened… or is happening here and I don't like it. We should get out of here as soon as possible." Canderous Ordo to Revan on the planet. The Unknown World, also called Rakata, Rakata Prime, and Lehon was the home world of the Rakatan species and the capital of their Infinite Empire. Millennia before the Republic the Rakata had once controlled an empire spanning the entire galaxy using their force powered ships and superior technology to subjugate other races and created the apex of their prowess the Star Forge, a massive space factory and battleship orbiting the planet's star. The Empire ended in a brutal civil war worsened by a plague that stripped the Rakata of their force abilities and slave revolts. The surface of Lehon was then devastated by warlords wielding weapons of mass destruction and forcing the Rakata underground. Revan twice visited the planet first as a Sith Lord using the Star Forge to launch his attack against the Republic and again as a Jedi to destroy the Star Forge. He allied with the Elder Tribe, the descendants of the priest caste to enter the Temple of the Ancients, which powered a disruptor field that disabled any ship in the system to protect the Star Forge, powered down the field, and destroyed the Star Forge.
