"Salvage Crew 4 is ready for anything". - MARDET Command.
About this creation
The Final Countdown group homepage.
EDIT: To all Final Countdown members, pay no attention to the BrickArms. I did not know we could not use them. Please do not mark me down for them, it is very hard trying to get photos with out the BrickArms, as every photo has them. I am sorry for the inconveniences caused by this.
Salvage Crew 4 is just one of about six or so Salvage teams that helps out retrieving usable junk and salvaged parts.
They have been equipped for anything, and with "Bertha" (The name of the truck the crew so came to a unanimous decision on) they can tackle anything. Finding usable junk is easy for this squad.
On to Bertha! This diesel-sucking V10 Semi is prepped for anything. It may look lke a gas guzler, but a few modifications have been made to prolong the gas mileage.

An angled shot of the front of this beast.

Now for the back.

And another angled shot of the back. Yes, there is a lot of those.

Bertha comes complete with an ATV to scout around for salvage. The back of Bertha is modified with loading ramps to hold the ATV.

For the occasiional storm or giant beast, Bertha comes complete with an optional barred windshield.

Here is one of my favorite pics of Bertha.

Now for the ATV. The brown isn't rust, it's the paint.

Another shot of the ATV. It's made mostly from minifigure pieces.

The tools of Bertha. As you can see, the truck meets the requirements of having 2 radios. Some other useful tools are there as well.

And now for the crew. These two look rough enough to be on a Salvage team right?

Now for Bertha with the Salvage trailer.

Trailer overview.

The back salvage area. A large open area is used for larger objects, and the boxes are used for food, ammo, and small salvageable things.

On the tongue of the trailer we find the essentials. A spare tire for Bertha, more boxes with supplies in them, and a salvaged Construction drone to help with heavy lifting.

Then there is the crane. It's proven to be quite useful, but it does need constant maintenance.

The salvaged construction drone. It does do heavy lifting...

The crew on the trailer. There are enough spots on the trailer to hold these guys and probably two more people on the trailer, without any salvaged scrap onboard.

The tools on the trailer. Not much is here, but the radios are useful. The gun and dagger, well, let's just say they aren't for show.

The complete crew of Bertha and the trailer.

The crew with the truck and trailer.

And a great parting shot: Salvage Crew 4 posing with weapons on top of Bertha.
Possibly my favorite picture of them all.
FOURTH WALL: This truck came into being in about 4 hours. A minifigure scale vehicle is a first for me, as I usually build microscale ones, if anything. The truck is staying together. The trailer, it's probably going to be taken apart later. The ATV is my own design, I have had it sitting on my desk for probably the past month waiting to be photographed. It finally got it's chance.
Comments and constructive criticism are welcomed and appreciated. KP out!

I can't really, but(if you can)in a group, search yourself in the 'search people' box and you should find you and you 'other acaunt'(again,I don't know if this will work).
It worked, and yes, this is my old account. It doesn't show up on normal searches, so I'm not worried about it. I dno't remember any passwords or anything for it, so yeah. |

Kyle!!I was inviting you to a group and looked up your name, and somebody STOLE YOUR NAME!!!Please take action!!
It was probably my fail of a first MP account. When I was first joining I never got a confirmation email that my new account had been created, so I made a different account under a new email. This 2nd account worked, the first did not. It is probably just my old one that never was activated. Can you link me to it? |

Hey,Kyle.Would you mind judging my contest,'The Alternate Self-MOC Contest'? http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/21093
P.S.I wouldn't want you to participate or else the other contestents wouldn't have a chance of winning against you.So do you want to judge it?If not,I'll keep looking. |

Kyle, it is great to have you building for TFC, you bring obvious skill and a breath of fresh air into the group. I have a feeling the XCOM is going to be unforgiving about the BrickArms. Its too bad because they really add something to the build. I really enjoyed your minfig team, and that ATV is the best I've seen! |

I already straightened that out with Mr. Rutherford, he said that it was his mistake to not add "no aftermarket customs" into the group rules, and we both came to an agreement. He would pay no attention to them, but I was supposed to give a little warning/disclaimer to other members, which I already did. Thanks for caring, the feedback is great as well! |

wow great work ! I myself am really found of the 4 wheeler design is it yours? if so could I use it with due credit of course.
Yeah, the ATV is my own design. It's pretty simple, it just take a LOT of minifigure parts! Go ahead and use it if you can break it down. |

Can you repost it to the group without the brickarms?
Well, I understand your request. Would it be posible to overlook them, and just say that the group has no weapons? I understand everything, and feel free to say no to this, but could I leave them in the pictures, but edit the moc description saying they should NOT have weapons? If that is okay, let me know. Thanks. |

Mr. Peckam, this is a welcome addition to The Final Countdown MOC pool. I love this truck, this crew, and the obvious attention to detail that has gone into this MOC. But... Can you repost it to the group without the brickarms? I run the site as Lego pure, and have already established that standard with our first wave builders. It would be unfair of me to let it go now that others have already altered their own efforts at my request. I assure you, this is an awkward request for me, and it does not reflect on my opinion of you the builder, or the quality of your excellent MOC! I thank you in advance.
