This is my entry in the contest 50 or less. It is 47pieces as minifigs count as 3 with any assories. I tried to make this moc look quite futuristicy with the with blue. i tried to make the ramp look as smooth and realistic as possible without using the curved pieces. The hoverboard was very simple but worked.
I hope you ike it
birdseye view
going up the ramp.
The back of the ramp is 22pieces
The moc without the fig showing the ramp
The skater dude on his hoverboard
The base of the moc which is 9pieces
the ramp which is
The add ons and the minifig is 16pieces
It's straight out of Back to the Future, I love it! Hello, McFly! Hello! You brought a lot of dynamic feeling to the build with only a very few parts (the point of the build in fact) and it works quite well. It's not about the complexity or the perfection with this build. It's about "How far can you go with 50 parts?" It a good question, and I think you answered it quite well. Attack!
Looks nice, but I feel that you could've done more with the base than just a ramp. Still a good entry, so 12/15

The MOC was overall very good. The "lamps" and some lights were the only futuristic items on the ramp, so the ramp itself was not the most futuristic looking. The "hover boarder" was in a great pose that made the MOC interesting. So your final score is 13/15.

I appreciate the way you've captured action with the minifigure. You might want to consider some variation in color from the ground to the ramp to draw the eye more to the focus of the build. Nice work.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that out on some of my other mocs!
