Here's my moc-off entry against JD Snyder. It's totally out of date though... The little dragon is a son. His name is Liddle Timmie.
About this creation
=Nightbreeze bio=

Scientific name: Nocteaura (That's Latin)

Habitat: Woods, peaceful vallleys

Diet: birds,fish,mammals,other dragons.

Human friendly: yes

Way of hunting: They have fast, large wings that can be used to catch other dragons and birds for prey and they also be good for swimming to catch fish. Nightbreezes also have long feet to make incredible leaps.

How they eat: They just eat it.

Mating: They mate in fall. Nightbreezes usually make dens out of trees for shelter. Males hunt and sometimes ask other Nightbreezes to defend the female and the offspring.
The offspring stays with their parents for 5 years and the male one teaches his dragonlet how to hunt and survive

Now to the photos. I'm not going to say anything. Just look at the pics.

I know it's not father's day but the photo uploader wasn't working so...

Bye! I hope you guys like it! Judges, please do your thing.

Creativity: 7/10 I think this is a fantastic dragon. The son is a nice touch. I like the use of the minifig arms in the neck and face. The tail is also nicely done. I think the back could be better - it looks like it could use some detail to hide the wing connection points. The wings look nice, but a little more ability to pose them would be cool. Diorama: 3/10 I think it could be a bit bigger with some more detail. The 2 dragons would look better if they were completely surrounded by a 'natural' environment. Neatness: 5/5 This was done very nicely. I wish it was one of my creations :) Personal Opinion: 4/5 I like it overall, I just wish the back and wings were a little better.

Quoting Deus Otiosus There is some aparent inspiration from my builds here, but I also see some of your own stlye slowly crawling out. Good job, a few more dragons and I will probably see you as a threat and challenge you to a MOCoff. I especially like your eye technique, but tto make it even better, try to hide those arm "studs", possibly in a technic pin hole. Making an original head and wings are the most importaint parts of the dragon, because there are simple or very complete solutions for the neck, body, tail and limbs, which are mostly similar or unnoticed amongst more builders.
Thanks for the comment. Yes, I'll make more dragons :)

Creativity-worth 7/10 You did put in some very nice details but i needed a few more of those in your whole creation ? Diorama-Worth 2/5 It's a good base . But it needs more details ! Try to make it look more realistic . Neatness-worth 4,5/5 The dragon looks awesome but as i said it needs more details ... Judge's Personal opinion- worth 4/5 You have made a fantastic dragon which has a fantastic personality which is overall just fantastic ! Well done my friend !

Very nice design! Good luck with the judges. You took your time on it, but I would say that it was worth the wait. I like the neck and head a lot. The only thing I would suggest is, make the wings thinner. Trust me, I know that is a ridiculously difficult thing to do (look at my nightfury). Your piece usage is great! I am glad to have been your opponent.

Lovely design of the wings on the 'father'. Black is very difficult to photograph well; try a black piece of poster board for better results. Nice work. ~Dave

Great design! Oh, btw, I see you changed your username. Nice idea, not as good as Bluestar, but still good!

Looks like a lot of techniques from Deus's dragons were used here. I think some spines would work well to cover those inverted studs on his back. Overall a pretty good dragon.

The dragons are good, they really are! But maybe the place could use some work, like some more landscaping and maybe more rocks?

I like your technique for it's eyes. The body of the dragon could be cleaner...Overall, Nice!
