It's happened. Last night we lost a survivor to death. EXCOM reports:
Last night our population dropped from 40 to 39.
It had to happen sooner or later. Apparently, the victim succumbed to a brain aneurism as he sleep last night.
Dr. Trowel reports that this aneurism was exacerbated by a chronic build up of toxins in his blood stream. Blood chemstry suggests that this build up occurred in the weeks prior to the victems arrival here at the bay.
We have chosen to bury the victom instead of the normal incineration. We are human, and a proper burial would be true to our humanity. We have no idea who the victom is, but he must have a proper burial.

Now THIS is grim! It's a pretty good blend of gothic spooky and Sci-Fi cruelty. I mean it's dark. It seems to be the right size, and I'm not changing any of the SPECs. But if this grave was being dug next to a black dead tree... man, it would be Halloween! I like the capes, shovels, and dark colors. It's depressing, but good. Even that old wooden box. Grim. Right on. Keep building and we will all leave #40 behind us. Dead king of a dead world... |
