Vintage Roadster "The Oldtimer"
A 6w roadster, 2 minifigs or minidolls fit in
About this creation

Another attempt to solve the "fender problem" ;-) My idea was to create a vintage roadster with a very low stance since often minifig-scale vintage cars are too tall.

There will be more versions (for minifigs, too), although there are only a few suitable color combinations between the wheelbase and the "mudguards" - too bad.

I have called it "The Oldtimer" since this is the German word for "vintage car" - nobody knows why ;-)

A Credit to Legohaulic for the wheel design, see http://www.flickr.com/photos/legohaulic/4361275036.

Many thanks for looking!

Versions:

#1: Dark Bluish Grey with white fenders
#2: Dark Red and White with white fenders
#3: Black with yellow fenders and grille
#4: Black with white fenders, grille and bumper (credit for the bumper: Matt Brown, see http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/312173)
#5: "The Honeymooner", Tan and White with white fenders

Thanks a lot! @StoveTop: Many thanks for your nice comment! Yeah, the girls just love it (they were quite envious because of Stephanie's growing car pool, so it does not belong to the "Cool Car" series). @Nick: Many thanks, glad to hear this from you!

Un real! The trick with the ski is absolutely brilliant! I thought the classic shape was really nice, but then after I looked closer, I realized how tiny this car is! It's fantastic! And the Friends minifigs are just perfect. Attack!

Many thanks guys, glad you like it! @Scott: Thanks a lot! All white does not work, since the vehicle base does not exist in this color :( @Alex: Many thanks! Dark green neither :-( This would be a fine Bentley ... @Elk: Thanks a lot, glad you like it. There will be more versions, but the sneak Roadster is only partially white :-) @Chris: I highly estimate your comment! @Parrington: Thanks a lot, always appreciated. Will comment on your MOC, too. @Sinan: Many thanks!

Very creative parts usage. I have to disagree on you being limited. White would go good with many colors. Very cool roadster. My daughter would love to play with that. She loves her "friends" figs. ~cheers
