This is my first massive model. It contains 45,066 pieces and is 492 bricks tall (that's 15 feet 6 inches!). The real Empire State is home to 6500 windows, this model contains 5400 if you count two panes as one window. It took me somewhere in the neighborhood of 36-48 hours to design and build. I realize the Empire State building isn't exactly a thrilling building visually speaking, but I had to start somewhere. The 6-7 stories of the very bottom of the building have yet to be completed, but I'll knock that out soon.
