8070 Super Jeep

I made this jeep using only Technic set 8070. My aim was to create an alternate or C model for the set. This Moc uses 95% of the parts from the set. This model features, Independent suspension to all 4 wheels. HOG steering Mechanically opening Doors Mechanically opening bonnet/hood Motorized V8 engine Working motorized 4 speed gearbox ratio: 1 = 1:5, 2 = 1:3, 3 = 3:5 4 = 1:1 ENJOY :) Check out the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhvtZmg5bcs
About this creation


Here I have swapped the tyres for bigger ones. It looks heaps better this way.

great model! the chassis looks very strong. its a shame that the steering isnt motorised otherwise you could have had an awesome rc car.

The 8070 set only has 1 motor.. so the steering is not motorised. The doors open by turning the small black toggles sticking out near the front of the sideskirts. There is a gear knob in the cab to open the hood.

It is motorized drive, motorized transmission and motorized engine. It also uses a clutch gear in the gearbox on 1st and 2nd. It can drive on ground in 1st gear quite well. :)

Yes I wanted some knoby tyres it was my thought too but I don't own the right ones in any of my other sets at the moment..
