About this creation

Welcome back, esteemed guests, to the ongoing Somniferrian Archive Initiative. We have an amazing discovery to share, so fresh from our cryptography team that closing passages are being added every hour, as the data processors apply a newly translated glyph to the defragmented sector of the cache!

It is with great excitement that we report the discovery of a THIRD Somniferrian Ancient!

While bewildered that no previous evidence of this entity has even been hinted at from literal EXAbytes of hitherto decrypted data (that, dear researchers, is a '10' followed EIGHTEEN Zeros, to provide some context for your full comprehension in this matter), not one byte divulges its existence.

We dig and dig, eager for secrets, and find NOTHING - and then the answer presents itself with embarrassing alacrity: rather than look beneath our feet for answers...

...we should have been looking UP. ----- But... more upon that, in a moment.

This Ancient bears a remarkable difference, in comparison with its two predecessors: the binary monstrosity Dominael , and the blazing Magmael : namely in that, this entity is NOT an 'It' at all...

...it is, in fact, a 'She'.

The first of her kind. Perhaps, the ONLY of the same.
Distinct from the masculine physiognomy apparent in her peers, this creation appears to have been intended as an embodiment of feminine grace and aptitude, agility and compassion, prowess and mercy...

The Archive shows her creators designated her "Valkyriel".
Supplemental entries (the source of many detractors to this archive as mythology, rather than simple fact) have references to this creature as "The Exalt of the Spires" (one fragmented byte references this as 'Exalt of the Lurien Spires', a distinction of no small possible import), and even one partial text naming her...

..."The Herald Of Storms".

If dismissed as Myth,
then she is simply an incarnation of the abstract concept of Vengeance.
She is the collector of the Fallen,
the battlefield phantasm one expects as a final vision,
come to take the brave to some final seat
earned by valor and martial prowess;
a place at the table of legends gone before...

While other 'myth' claims her to be a physical expression of the abstraction of WAR itself: armed with a terrible spear, the "Kreigspire", she was utterly indomitable upon the field of Conflict. Nations rose against her, pitting their will against hers;
but Valkyriel decimated them.
Some, so utterly we cannot recover even their names.

The accounts of her first blows in the War of Ancients are apparently incomplete, conflicting or corrupted - the only point upon which the texts seem to agree are that she arrived late in the conflict. The 'why' of this has been a matter of some conjecture; but more popular theorization follows along these lines:

Either she was incomplete when Dominael became self-aware, or, more likely...

...she was too far from Somniferria, when the war began, to join it.

(While impossible to conclusively validate, there MAY be some evidence that her Arrival heralded the War's END, however: Valkyriel's involvement could not have offered clearer proof that STALEMATE was this Conflict's inevitable conclusion... the Ancients were made too well, and grew too far, too fast...

...With their intellects, vast, and cold,
they re-wrote the lines of Fate their masters' pens had wrought:
new and savage scripts flew across crystalline nodes in brains like glass cathedrals,
and all Somniferria trembled at the monsters
risen from the treacherous black seas of their own Ambition.

"Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit, before a Fall." - Proverbs 16:18, the Holy Bible, Sol III Archival B.C. 76

Regardless of the uncertain cause of her delayed arrival, her mark upon the course of events was profoundly clear.

They mistook her capacity for Mercy as weakness, and the scope of her creation: as a feminine counterpoint to their savage primacy - as flawed; inferior.

Her adversaries learned their folly
all too well,
all too soon.

Equal. Implacable. Diametrically Opposed.

They fought. Somniferria burned. And They barely noticed.

They sought to create Saviors close to the Angels themselves,
but their Guardians would suffer not the yoke, and cast their shackles free
to pit their mettle against their only worthy foes:
Each other.

Although now no more than glittershod ashes and twisted expanses of blasted black glass - once, there was a nation called Vjerana: although known for their peaceful ways, they nonetheless jealously guarded their borders, and strictly policed themselves in pursuit of high ideals the safety of its citizens.

Pursuant to this end, and at least partially in response to the escalation in the Somniferrian Arms Race (namely: the underway 'Ancients Initiative'), the Vjeranian government began construction on their OWN super-weapon; fashioned in the likeness of one of their primary religion's greatest icons - 'The Valkyriel' .

After the first fragment of Valkyriel's existence was decrypted, our researchers hit their first wall in unraveling her mystery: not one trace of her terrestrial whereabouts could be found. Like the other two Ancients discovered thus far, it can be safely presumed that Vjerana built a base or stronghold as a center of power to protect and restore her - but if so, where?

The problem with xenoarchaeology in general exists not in the absence of evidence-of-historical-significance, but in UNDERSTANDING what you've already found. The S.A.I. has some of the finest scientific minds the Empire has ever produced, but the simple truth is that Somniferrian technology is so advanced that current Science regards it as little short of Arcane.

One could literally be holding a veritable road-map; incontrovertible evidence of Valkyriel's location, and not know what it was.

Ironically, this was not far from the case.

It turns out that one of the very first unidentified trace elements found in a sample of Somniferrian soil, was in fact microscopic dust from the colloid suspension used to repel the fine grit from metallic surfaces used on structures on the surface of Somniferria's MOONS...

This substance was found on the edges of an Impact Crater of unknown origin, fused with the silicon-based compounds of the planet's topsoil, apparently by an equally-unidentified source of incredible heat. Also found from Crater 10029b, was a great deal of Blood.

At least, we are reasonably sure it's blood: only 7 out of 13 elements present were classifiable.

*thumps, sounds off-mic* Are you absolutely SURE you want this in the official report? Seriously?...

As far as PURE conjecture will permit, our scientists surmise that the unidentified colloid is from the special glazing used on all the metals of the Vjeranian LUNAR CITADEL, nicknamed 'The Spires' by Lurien colonists. This shining mountain of chrome towers and expanses of glassteel planes is large enough to be seen as a pinpoint of light all the way to the surface of the mother planet, visible just as the shadow meridian eclipses Lurien's southwest hemisphere, each evening.

Enthusiasts, warriors and romantics once watched for the flash, common lore taking this as a blessing or omen of good fortune.
In theory, if the same metals were present in the biosteel alloy blend used in making either the Valkyriel superweapon itself, or in her Kriegspire, then the unexplained trace presence of the compound from 10029b would be first plausible connection between a hidden lair on the lunar surface, and the mystery of her disappearance.

It even adds weight to the reported delay in her joining the fray; it is estimated that at full flightspeed by graviton inversion ( Magmael and Emberhawke's theorized method of propulsion), it might take up to 47 minutes to achieve planetfall for a linear interplanetary jump (accounting for the curvature due to the planet's distinctive triple-elliptical gravitational envelope).

Simply stated: if there is, in fact a hidden temple within the vastness of the Spires, she likely launched mere seconds after the first cities fell -

...as the first blooming explosions
opened like hellish red eyes below her,
puncturing the tranquil blue lens of Somniferria's surface,
as her silver throne sailed so high above it on the starry night,
bearing witness to the last moments of an entire race...

...she could pretend subservience no longer.

She took up her spear,
spread her great wings,
and came down, to make War.

She was too late to save Somniferria,
but perhaps, just perhaps...

...she could Avenge it.
Casting "Kreigspire" before her, hurtling down from the Spire Temple, an alabaster angel piercing the Somniferrian night,

her opening strike pierced the heart of the great Bioweapon Worme, locked in low-orbital combat with the entity O.G.R.E., pinning the dragon like a moth, tearing it right from the giga-Borg's grip and smashing into the planet...

...in a crater now labeled "10029b".

With her opening stroke,
Valkyriel changed the War.
The Ancients became locked in an eternal circle.

And we may not, even now, know its full breadth.

How many eyes locked upon this sight that last day? How many tried to stop the clash between the angels themselves, and were trodden to dust beneath their fearful tread?...

What can mere Mortals do when their Immortal Children rise up against one another?

From their myths, they fashion Legends to teach and inspire,
to instill hope and morality, security and prosperity,
only to find their Legends malcontent,
and unwilling to obey their masters
when they themselves, so pale and frail,
fail to live up to the Majesty
of their Creations...

Can it be any wonder, then, that beings of this magnitude barely notice when we are crushed beneath the stamp and shift of their deadly dance with one another?

That they have eyes
ONLY for each other?

What are we, left standing in the shadows
of those whose silhouettes can swallow entire nations?

We see them as our Protectors.

But...

...What would we do, if they turned their mighty weapons
against their makers?...

...Or, as an ultimate blow to our Vanity,
they one day simply regarded us as
BENEATH their Need To Notice?

When we realize they owe us nothing more than
acknowledgement as their progenitor?

What, then?

WELCOME BACK, and THANK YOU for your Patronage!
Beginning 4th Wall Commentary:
This may not look it, but it was one of the simpler Builds I've done in awhile, and being so, was alot more fun than my last (and likely, more fun than my next (likely OVER-ambtitious) Project planned ;P).
The above Shot will start you off with some basic Metrics.

I was REALLY excited to finally get her up:
MY FIRST-EVER, and I mean EV-ER, Fe-MOC!!!

In general, the original idea for this MOC started with the head. Seems logical, but Builds don't always happen that way for me. I got the basic concept in line, toyed around with several kinds of 'Horns' and settled on the simple (glow-in-the-dark=P) set you see shown in profile below.

I can now better understand the challenges that many of you MOCers face, when you decide your Build needs to stay Female in appearance in structure.

As a builder who likes muscleMOCs, I had to scale it back quite a bit,
and reign in that tendency, to keep her figure more streamlined.

I was fairly pleased with her frame, in the end.

4thWC: Head and Torso detail. The full glass-skull concept came from an old (wonderfully drawn) comic called B.R.A.S.S. I highly recommend it.

Essentially; there weren't eyes or features: the whole skull IS the Lens, coating complex sensor arrays beneath it. Artistically, the lack of facial features was meant to intimate a hollow, Doll-like, inhuman aspect.

The Horns were altered several times...

4thWC: You are likely familiar with the Norse mythological concept of the Valkyrie.
The Greeks had Charon, to ferry the dead across the river Styx to their final Judgement. The Norse counterpart to this ideology were these angel-like escorts,
ushering the brave to their places at the table of their ancestors and heroes; as you can read at some length on many other websites.

Educating you on their nature is likely unecessary; not my intent here.

But I did want to acknowledge my reference to the Myth
(and my love for that Lore).

4thWC: Here's a look at those hands. I was very happy with their Functionality: I will likely be using that double-ball-jointed Wrist design again soon. ;)

Not sure if you can see it, but that's just a minifig weapon from a Toa Tower set sometime ago. While I like that bracket that comprised the knuckles very much, it made a need to 'close the gap' for the raised socket.

A cylinder and that weapon were my solution. In the future, I will have to come up with something else - those were the only two I had =)

4thWC: A leg detail:

Those lower legs (the calf-to-ankle area) were a real challenge. I wanted something longer than the longest HF socket+balljoint piece I could find, and I wanted a nice range of motion for the ankle.

The design eventually became what you see here. Lot of plating and armor again, for greeble and to preserve that warrior-angel theme.

4thWC: A reverse detail of the lower legs.

As with previous MOCs, I always add a bit to explain the following: so here's this -

As I've disclosed before: whenever the situation calls for it - I DO PAINT/MOD/CUSTOMIZE. You've heard me say it before -
it's YOUR LEGO, it should do what you want, when you want. I reluctantly elaborate on this, because it inevitably recurs. Something I haven't made sure to elaborate upon
(after the BELOW shot, of the side Calves Detail, exterior):

4thWC:...I do so RELUCTANTLY. And always, when I can't innovate, or AFFORD, an alternate solution.

Would that LEGO would cast ALL pieces in more Colors, yes? Sadly, I am aware that this is monetarily unfeasible, on their part -
making it equally monetarily unfeasible for me to FIND/BUY/SHIP bits, when paint is cheap and readily available. :) SO - when it's called for, the sandpaper, files, and paints come out to play.

I'm not trying to be a Rebel.
I'm not trying to rock boats.
I'm not trying to slam Purists:
(We have some AWESOME Purist MOCers on the 'pages. Look around.)

I am simply a practical Bird.

Alright: enough on that.

On to 4thWC.

4thWC: A first Detail look at the stabilizer talons, deployed.

They were originally just for looks
(and I like the idea of them deploying whenever her wings unfolded)
but they also proved quite useful for pose stability, and help offset wing-weight.

4thWC: An interior detail, with stabilizer talons deployed. I was pleased with the way the leg armor kind of clam-shelled together.

4thWC: ...a profile interior detail of same.

4thWC: A look at the Wing Assembly interior. Again, loved the curvable, bladed-wing look - but it proved weighty, indeed.

4thWC: Was really, really, pleased with her overall profile. Particularly her head and torso. Her wings were important, but I wanted her torso to look distinctive and female, but still geared for War.

The chains as accessories were a late detail, but I loved that they sort of suggested Viking braids. =)

4thWC: Here's an uplifted shot of the wingblade array. I wanted curves and spikes and went through too many change-outs exchanging good weight for bad looks, and finally reduced from 4 'feathers' to 3, to settle balance issues. I am a BIG FAN of Lego ratchet-joints, and loved the cool arrangements they made possible.

4thWC: ...and a look at the folded position, where the pinion feathers rotate to create that more proper folded look. I liked the back, but am torn about the armored gorget behind the neck. It disappeared and reappeared at the end. =)

4thWC: Effaced, with title and a slanted Kreigspire.

4thWC: 3/4 effaced, striding; wanted a shot or two to show the Folded wing-position

4thWC: A clean wingspread shot. Her stances get deeper when the Talons deploy - while the 'high-heels' look is nice, it limits ankle flexion when they are tucked behind that front armor plating, retracted. Small sacrifice, I s'pose, to conceal a fun gimmick. ;)

4thWC: Messing with a new bulb for my primitive photo-setup; liked the lighting here, though.

4thWC: Another 'catwalk shot', liked the leg shapes and curves in the final rendition.

4thWC: Fully deployed, venting focused Lunar plasma from Lurien's rays, charging her merciless weapon for a long-distance precision strike.

4thWC: Raising Kreigspire to find an enemy's heart. Liked the framing for the tile-shot here.

4thWC: Simple 3/4 shot without her spear

After the War, it can only be assumed that Valkyriel returned the moon's citadels, where she watches us still: no trace of her remains on Somniferria - only the signature written upon her foes in pain and ruin, and the fallen cities where they clashed against her.

4thWC: Looking up, where her skies join ours like two sides of the same windowpane: each a shining orb eclipsing the other's Night.

4thWC: Fully deployed profile, preparing to launch

4thWC: 3/4 effaced, in clean silhouette

4thWC: Wings slightly curved towards her target, 3/4 effaced, arms wide

4thWC: By request, another Before-and-After pair of shots: this one, before the wing arrays are charged for flight, with a visible fan of energy sleeting from their edges as Valkyriel inverts planes of graviton particles.

Also, shamelessly inspired by this effect in such animes as Genocyber and the Freedom Gundam, whom I here acknowledge. =)

4thWC: for our After shot, the plasma wings visible, thank you, Photoshop =D

4thWC: The first of a few group shots for Scale (Ancients ONLY). Dominael still wins the height-contest, by a fraction. ;)

Due to the utter finality of Valkyriel's opening shot, her face-off with Dominael is considered her first true fight, in the great War. By the time these two squared off, Worme's smoking hulk hadn't even impacted from it's impalement in orbit, ripped from O.G.R.E.'s claws.

This engagement occurred at 4:36:07, and has been named 'Event Three'...

4thWC: Dom, Val, Mag; Descending Height order, 3/4 effaced. ;)

4thWC: Reversed 3/4, in no dang order AT ALL. =)

...Ah, well - perhaps in order of Chronological Discovery. Or, in Tobuscus Color-scheme Order: Darkness and Redness, then Whiteness (laugh only if you get the reference =P)

4thWC: Again, in Reverse-Tobuscus Order =)

Liked this Poster Shot's lighting.

4thWC: She flies above my Studio right now, in a pose much like this one. =)

Liked this shot alot.

4thWC: A deeper lunging stance, perhaps looking down from her perch atop the the Spires of Vjerana onto the cities of that lunar colony.

4thWC: Didn't end with it, but this simple shot has prolly ended up as my favorite shot of the entire session. I LOVED the light and the pose. I know it's not complicated, and her gimmicks aren't deployed, but it seemed all the cleaner for it. Hope you like.

4thWC: One of my 'calling your Shot' pics, here shown selecting her next target to Call Home (one way, or another). I liked the strange Four Horseman background I found to stage behind her. Bless you, Wallbase.

4thWC: My absolute favorite Lighting shot, meant for sinister shadowing and including a (hopefully not unfamiliar) quote from the late Robert Bolt.
In my little fictitious world, this was the last sight I imagined many Somniferians seeing that day.

4thWC: A blue-frame Title Poster I liked, 3/4 effaced. Lighting for the original shot was good.

4thWC: My second-favorite Lighting shot from this session. I loved the shadows and wide stance. Perhaps how she looked, just after Impact on the Somniferrian surface following Event Three.

4thWC: And a Final shot, chosen just for clean light and silhouette: the leading pic minus Titles, all gigged-out weapon-wise.

You made it to the end!
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, for all your patronage and Feedback, both critical and praise. That makes it all worthwhile, to me.

There IS another Somniferrian under construction (no hints), but I haven't decided yet whether or not to finish it before O.G.R.E.
Time and BrickLink will tell, I suppose. =)
In the meantime, I'll be constructing a Movie for Val this week some time, and attaching it when complete. MANY of you are due reviews from me - thanks for your patience, they are Incoming as time permits. Thanks again, and until next time, Cheers!

Um, if you'll look down towards the bottom of Malgothiel's Page, around here: http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=345111&id=/user_images/72031/1351563824m, you'll see that's how I created them. Quoting Dark Aeon This...this is...absolutely AMAZING!! Truly one of the most incredible MOCs out there. And those hands! Probably the most interesting design that I have ever seen. I would love to use them...except that I have no idea as to the internal structure (can't really es it that well and unsure of what some pieces are). If you get the chance, could you do a break-down assembly of the hand? And if you do, could I possibly use the design? (Full credit will be given to you, of course)
One of these http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32174, one of these http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=92907, two of these http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=41677, four of these http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=53989. And one of these http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=194 if you want thumb rotation/true opposable thumbs. Tips with claws, blade, rondels, etc. to your liking. To connect them, I use simple black axles (1cm), chopped/sanded in half (gasp!~), or CUT 8mm rigid pneumatic tubing to desired length (Even LEGO ~gasp~ instructs the Purist to do this, on occasion), if you have Purist leanings. Hope that helps!

Quoting Anaru LST Does this contain painted pieces? Cause if it does, good job on not making it noticeable!
As touchy a subject as Painting can be; I believe in Full Disclosure, so - YES. Yes, there are Painted bits. I go on at some length on MOCs like Dominael down in the Comments about When/Why I do, but the footnote will ALWAYS be that I do so (when I do) reluctantly. Can't control the LEGO Company (Evil Lord Business has that handled), but at least I can control the Lego that's mine. =) Thanks for the Review!

Hello Mr. Crowe: First of all, I'd like to say that I LOVE your work! Every last build you have made is amazing... And when I saw you keep them together? My jaw was in a worse predicament than O.G.R.E. was on the Kreigspire ;). Anyway, I thought I should tell you: I have made my own personal Ancient! Although, it doesn't exist on Somnifera.. See, the idea is, that my main villain's scientist and computer guy finds a file on the Ancients, tells the villain about it, and the villain (unawares that the thing will betray him) uses the file to start production of his own Ancient. After the Ancient betrays him, chaos ensues, and the villain has to.. Well, I can't give away to much of the plot line, can I!? LOL thank you for your time, and I hope you will like my tribute.

Honestly they were a hodgepodge of stacked technic brackets, fixed to an HF male-to-female socketed strut with axle pins, then (most visible) some layered System and HF armor. Wanted ankle to have male BNS-joint terminal, 'cause I'd actually come up with the Foot Design before the legs =P (I really wanted those retractable talons to work, so I kinda had to reverse-engineer an idea) . Thanks for looking, man. :)

Quoting David Roberts What a wonderful piece of sulpture in ABS. The shaping is great and obviously very poseable. I especially like how expressive the hands can be. The blank, black face is strange and very effective too. All of this building, coupled with the backstory and brilliant photo work makes for a great package!
Thanks David! Man I have looked at that innovative forced perspective dio you made at LEAST a dozen times. That is just AWESOME, m8! Cheers on the Review!
Quoting Lindel 1324 Incredible work once again, Clever Crowe! The whole thing is just perfect! The storyline, again, is also just amazing.
Thanks again, Lindel! =) I've tried very hard to keep threading newer MOCs onto the storyline, and I gotta admit; it's been challenging, since I made the wacko move to start in the Present, but jumped so soon aaaall the way back to Somniferria's Apocalypse. Working back forward has been a matter of Baby Steps. Cheers!!!

Quoting Griffin Hunter Ok Clever, your name says it all. I haven't been on mocpages lately, but I stumbled across this treasure. Magmael is still my favorite but your latest creations are just amazing. I especially love the scripture. Thanks for doing what you do and, do you order lots of your pieces from bricklink? Agin marvelous job Griffin
I have gotten some orders of SMALL bits from BrickLink, Griffin (the hard-to-get Technic & translucent bits often), but mostly I just watch for people letting go of groups of Bionicle bits on E-Bay. Then wait, sort, and Rebuild! I am glad you liked the scripture reference; I do that, and other literature, whenever I can work it into the theme of the Story. Cheers on the Review! TY =)

Appreciated, Potu. Like your Rhurh and Hellryx. Good craft, there.
Quoting ZORK 64 To be honest, I'm usually not a great fan of modding pieces. But since you only painted a few pieces in this case, I'll don't mind the modding that much. The MOC is overall fantastic, and I'll add you to my favourite MOCers for sure!
Awesome to hear, Zork. I owe you a review on your Titan Stormer. Really like those flip-out blades tucked behind the forearm sheild. Gimmicks can really make the MOC, and I am a huge fan/supporter of designs like those. Bear with me on timing. Something in order of an explanation will hit my Homepage soon re: delays. CHEERS=>

Quoting Yuri Fassio This is stunningly beautiful, but it looks a lot less playable than most of your other MOCs. The torso is rigid, and the leg plating seems to interfere with some basic movements. I know you don't like that, I hope you don't want to become the next Steve Puckett.
I can gratefully tell you that, in this case at least, looks can be deceiving. I was truly worried about loss of articulation too, but that rigid torso's the only real loss, in the end. The legs are capable of WILD articulation; but with the weight of her wings back there, the farther I flexed, the more they cause tipping - there was a time I thought about building a Gundam-style Stand for her, to show 'flight' and kick-poses, but in the end decided I wanted her to stand on her own. She's hanging over my head right now on some wire in a 'flight' pose showing off some of that leg action =) I thought of including a snapshot, but my house, with its plaster ceilings, was built in the 30's, and are frankly pretty embarrassing. =P Cheers as always, Yuri; thanks for the Review, Sir!

Thanks, Nwm. I think I still struggle with build clarity sometimes, but I am glad that the structure is coming through (even if they're produced by a FUZZY imagination =D). Cheers!
Quoting Steve The Squid The shape is amazing, but all the painted parts ruin it. A few painted parts can be justified if they're purposeful or professional, but it feels like the majority of the moc is painted, and not to achieve any particularly special color scheme. It defeats the purpose, and it's not impressive. Sorry, this is why I can't justify giving it a like. I'd love to, but the paint is entirely unnecessary.
Well, that's unfortunate Steve - love your work and value your opinion. My decision to paint, whether a little or a lot, will always be a matter of adjudication, for me. With Val; it was the second and third of my Big Three: I wanted the colorscheme I'd selected to be consistent, and didn't own or couldn't afford them in the colors I wanted. So: I paint. Thanks for the feedback - to provide you with realistic expectations, though, I'd prepare you to see more of it, if I feel it's necessary. If it means you Un-favoriting me as a Builder, hey, I'll just have to live with that, and no hard feelings. Cheers, and thanks for the honest feedback!

Quoting Toa Infernum Amazing! In my opinion the BEST fe-moc on the pages! Also on of the best overall! This is inspirational! Everything from the simple arms to the amazing legs is perfect! Quoting Monarth GS Marvelous work. Although I see painted pieces, I'd wish the originals would've been the same color, especially the wings, love the full white. I was so close to missing this graceful appearance, as my computer was broken, but I'm glad I found it finally. Quite amazing how quickly you've surpassed so many builders in the number of views and likes. But no wonder, you had all it took to do so: great style and techniques, great photo quality and a clean background. I've been on mocpages for 5 years, and all I can do is raise a hat for your skills sir. Cheers, Clever!

Grateful for that, 'Wolf. Just got a look at your elegant little Fikou Spider. Love it, cheers! =)
Quoting Vored 03 I'm normally not a fan of colored pieces, but you did very well with them! The overall looks is fantastic, I really liked the dark and reddish poster you made! Excellent work!
That was a fun backdrop to work with; Thanks Vored! It's been cool to watch your Self-MOC evolve - like those changes. Thx m8!
Quoting L.A. Miranda Wow, it's one of your few MOCs that, althought having a lot of parts, it doesn't seem overcharged (please don't misunderstand me, you're one of the few people I know that build overcharged MOCs that look perfect and awesome, without having more parts that should have). She's one of the greatest female MOCs I have ever seen. 5/5, obviously.
No, I understand. And I appreciate the distinction you are making: thank you for the compliment, Miranda. I really love your Sycarax and its updates - inspired work!

Quoting Marko Petrusic This is awesome, I absolutely love the wings, and the whole build flows together great. Like always, this is an awesome MOC :)
Thank you - I worried about the wings, initially, man. Friction joints would've made more stable arrays - but then the whole wings would've weighed more. Glad it worked out, Cheers!
Quoting Tabaris CarpeNocte Okay man. Just wow! That blows me just away for sure. This creation is very nice, very feminine, yet dangerous as the bloodsolved pits o'hell xD
Aright! Thanks for the Review, Tabaris: LOVE your Jabberwock, m8!
Quoting Jacob Manahan Very well done(as always =D)! I really like the feminine shape, yet deadly outlook. Great designs thrown in there, it all goes together very well! I'll make sure to reread when all the text has been uploaded =)
Y'know Jacob, that really means alot. The Story bits take some time, and the fact that reading them actually MATTER to anybody means a heckuva lot. HUGE Thanks, m8!!!

Marvelous work.

Amazing! In my opinion the BEST fe-moc on the pages! Also on of the best overall! This is inspirational! Everything from the simple arms to the amazing legs is perfect! The hands are great, I might have to use them at some point! ;D. The head is amazing, I love it. The figure is also great! Probably my fav from you! :D

Aye, you do some amazing stuff here. Great job capturing a feminine shape. Oddly, amidst all the other awesomeness here, I think the transforming heels are my favorite part.

Quoting Zen Karma The hands alone are a master piece. And as allways your builds have a smooth its alive look.
Thank you Zen, I am admittedly proud of how those turned out. Cheers!
Quoting Jeremy Streets You never cease to amaze me Clever Crowe!!! Epic!
Thank you Jeremy! Appreciate the review! More story to get filled in as I have time. Cheers!
Quoting Daniel Brilliant This reminds me a lot of Tyriel from the Diablo series. This is a good thing, because he is easily one of the most hardcore looking dudes ever. I'll bet that this Valkyriel and Tyriel would make amazing celestial butt-kicking babies. Just a weird thought.
LOL, thx. I, too, am one of the horde of peeps playing a lil' D3 right now. Enjoying Tyriel's part of the story thus far. Appreciate that, man, and Cheers for the Review, as well! =)
Quoting Chris Yee Ahh, feminine MOCs are always so refreshing to see. When I first heard you mention you were making one, my anticipation was barely contained. Great artwork as usual. ^_^
I was so excited to try this! There are so many great FeMOCs out there, I wanted to try my hand at it (and see if I could fit it into my Somniferrian Saga). Love your work, Chris, and thanks for the Review, Sir! Cheers!

Quoting Lego METAL this moc is probsably one of my most favorite moc of urs. that hand design is epic and im gona use it ill give u credit. great moc man
Y'know man I really appreciate that. Ever build a part and leave it LAYING AROUND for awhile? =) That's what happened: I knew they'd come in... erm.... Handy. (sorry ;P) But true. They sat for awhile, waiting for the rest of the MOC to materialize. Cheers!
Quoting Steve99 L Awesome!
Thx, m8!
Quoting Cody G Beauty and power incarnate! Well done, I love the torso, legs, and the head design. One of your best yet!
Thank you for saying so. We learn new little tricks all the time. Thanks for the Visit, Cody, Cheers!

Quoting Talonmagic ~ Amazing Work!! I espically love the color scheme and the wings! I absolutely LOVE it!!
Thank you! Color took the longest. I didn't want to paint much, so I had to get a little creative with the bits I chose. Cheers!
Quoting Sam H I am speechless. Your mocs are so amazing! They inspire me to be a better mocist, and your build style is awesome! Keep up the good work man!
Thanks, Sam =) I shall try. You, too!
Quoting The Plague , Mechanical Biohazard This is amazing. It's probably one of your best works, awesome Fe-MOC! The painted pieces don't look out-of-place at all!
Appreciated. I think I might try this again, soon. ;) We shall see... Cheers!

Quoting Dark Crusader Such a smexy beast! I love it! The fact that you were able to keep a femine figure at such a large scale is amazing!! Well done, well done indeed.
My first try, but I like her so far. Thank you for the review!
Quoting Dragonmaster 1027 Holy cow! Besides Dominael, this is my favorite creation of yours! So smooth and agile looking! Just awesome man! Great job.
I struggled with the Agile thing; legs and shoulders were revised SEVERAL times. TY, Sir!
Quoting Hero the Mercury Wave The sheer amount of time you spend on a moc, pictures you take and edit, and everything else is just ridiculous! I mean really, these deserve to be on like the news!
=) yeah I can be a bit slow. I like to tinker. Thanks for the feedback, m8! Cheers!
