About this creation

Cheyenne Valley Engine 524 is a 2002 Pierce Dash with a 1250 GPM pump and a 1000 gallon water tank. It has only one preconnected hoseline located in the hosebed which is 100 ft. 2 1/2" hooked up to a 200 ft. 1 3/4" bundle. The other half of the hosebed has 300 ft. of 3" hose with a Blitzfire attack nozzle. 524's primary duty is attack for rural fires and the designated mutual aid engine. 524 carries 4 lengths of hard suction hose: one preconnected to the front intake, and three on the sides; two ground ladders; a deck gun; and a light tower.
