This is my entry for the newest Community Build over in the Eurobricks Forums! I've been wanting to build larger SW figs ala the 12 inch figs from long ago (and since reincarnated) which allows for more detail and accuracy. If you follow my builds, you'll know this isn't the first time I've built this size before, BUT, it is the first time I've tried to do what I do with my Moodland figs only larger. I had alot of fun building this guy and will build other SW (and other) characters in the near future. Any and all suggestions are welcome. As always, please RATE and COMMENT!:)

Excellent work. Love the detail. Very accurate to the movies. Great job getting it so posable. I have trouble with the weight of my limbs and everything just slumps so I understand the difficulty of pulling that off. Well done. |

Nice! How do you make it stand out from the white backround?
Thanks! The background is actually light gray. That's how the white stands out. |

Agreeing with Scott Allen, he's too busy, but cool idea, just needs some refinement. 3/5 |

*stops charging the clone army when sees that* oh... Look at the time... I'm late... Amazing creation! I love the detail but I must ask, how is it that that thing can stand?!? It looks like its standing with its butt out and that is not the easiest stance to hold, even in real life...
The secret is that there are technic bricks with holes in the feet and stand with a technic pin between them. So this guy would break in half before he fell over.:) |

I think this looks great. The Legs and body are well done and the detials and coloring of the helmet are nice. My only little critque is that the face of the helmet is a little too flat. But otherwise it looks great as usual! |

Hey, I had a 12 inch Vader! And no... that's not code for anything (snicker). Great work man! Always love your "scale" stuff and really look forward to each one! ~ Chris.
Thanks! HAHA! "12 Inch Vader" sounds like a cool band name or some weird sci fi adult film. |

Great job buddy. Love the details on his back, the helmet is a little to busy. Maybe just to many pieces? Love the armor, knee pads... in "service" of Emperor Palpatine's wishes. Rofl. Looking good, cant wait to see what's next. ~cheers |

Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor! This is awesome!!! I love this scale and the added details of the build. Only thing, the base is a little on the small size. With a wide stance, the feet hang off a bit. No big deal though, the base isn't the focus. I absolutely love this! Hope it is blogged like crazy. Which it should be!
Thanks, man! The stand was a bit of an afterthought and I'll definately focus on it more with future figs. Here's hoping for some blogging!:) |

Very cool. The helmet looks weird from the front, but even on such a large scale, somethings just cannot be done perfectly. He looks great. My request, if you have enough orange, Aurra Sing. You haven't made many female characters but this would be quite the model.
Thanks. After 5 different designs, that was the best helmet I could make, but I'm still tinkering with it. I do plan on building some female characters soon (Slave Leia, anyone?). |
