About this creation

Even in the world of supercars, With all its eccentricities, there is no car maker quite as unique as Cizeta. Starting in the 1980's, the techno musician Girgio Moroder, along with Claudio Zampoli, a wealthy Lamborghini car dealer in America, began work together on a project that focused on, "...making a supercar like no one had ever seen before". Their dream was to create a car with a complex design and that was overwhelmingly fast, unprecedented in both exterior and interior design.

The Marcello Gandini, the designer famous for his work on the Lamborghini Countach and the Lancia Stratos became involved, guaranteeing the creation of a remarkable car. In 1988, the Cizeta V16T was finally completed, and it shocked the world. The main point of interest was in its engine, from which the name V16T came. It was given a V16 engine, horizontally mounted in a mid-ship layout. In other words, the width of the engine was the width of the car. Power roared out from the centre of the vehicle towards the transmission at the rear.

This shape was the result of combining two V8 engines from the Lamborghini Uracco, back to back, in order to avert the cost and risk of designing their own engine from scratch. That is why it was announced to output 560BHP with double the displacement of 6L, and the Maximum speed was announced to be 204mph. The pirelli tyres are 355/35 ZR17 at the rear, and no one had ever seen tires this wide before.

However once they were prepared to sell, the world economy started to decline, and it seemed as though production in Modena, Italy, was under jeopardy. However, the company was moved into the U.S. in 2003, and is taking orders and producing the V16T.

On this car, I decided to focus on looks more then function, so not too much exciting stuff, but i'm hoping you guys won't mind.

The front of the car was probably the hardest part to make, as I tried to make pop up lights, but because the real cxar has double sets on either side, this was impossible for me to do. So i decided to make them look as if they were open.

I am very happy with the side of the car, I love the side intakes, I think they look pretty authentic.

I love this view of it, as you can see the inward curves on the sides better.

The engine cover open, backwards like the real car.

The engine bay in the real car isn't to revealing, so it wasn't hard to replicate.

The front lights, they are a bit too small next to those of the real car.

I especially love the rear of the car, because of that floating bumper, and those four exhausts.

I think I have recreated the interior exceptionally well, I have made a different type of seats, to what I usually make, and I managed to add the red black stripe down the middle of them, like the real cars seats.
