Great moc for an unfinished castle. Ruins make for great settings for fantasy builds. |

I did not expect a creation using raised baseplates and tower bricks used for towers from a great builder such as yourself... The concept is not a very common one, but it does not make up for the big chunky pieces. If it does not turn out good, do not post it, that is my motto.
I'm sorry for the dissapointment, I hope you'll like the "former" version better (allthough I'd still use these parts, just with some more decoration) |

Hey, I have that same baseplate... should try to put it to use at some point. Nice work with the ruins! ~ Chris. |

hahaha, cool idea. I have had so many false starts trying to build a castle. It really is a big undertaking. Normally I get sick of a Moc by 70 percent of it, but with castles, I usually scrap them at about the thirty percent mark! I should have just done this! |

It´s a good idea to make castle ruins. That way everybody can make a castle, eevn if they have not enough parts. Nice baseplate. |

That's an interesting idea and very well executed. My favourite part is the water lily design. Good work (oh and supported). |

There are some funny coincidences on this world. Before I built my castle I thought it was going to be mainly black, so I picked that same baseplate and started laying some black walls around it. Then I decided it was going to be gray and the previous study was left there forgotten... looking like this, sort of :D great work here, the vegetation is superb. It's nice to see you coming ashore sometime ;) |

Awesome work Seb! I love all the broken arches, and I especially like the first picture of the man walking through it. I had a dream like this a long time ago. Anyways keep it up, good to see a nice MOC like this. |

really nice ruins you have here, i can safely say, this is moc is ruined, hehe, i like that you made the leftovers from the castle black, so that it look burnt, and then the little fig wandering about, but that fig should be your sigfig insted, then it would be alot better, and ive been thinking on makeing castle myself, becasue im tired of hearing people saying that, castle and pirates are the same, so i will make alot of mocs where the pirates crushes the castle guys, but nice moc, very well overgrown effect, but the thing i like the most, is that you are telling people to support your FD, which has absolutely nothing to do with this, hehe, |

Very nice! I bet that old baseplate brings back memories :) However, I think that making the landscape yourself out of bricks would have made this a bit cooler to look at. It's like using BURPs (Big Ugly Rock Pieces) when you could make it brick built, they both look good, but one gives it a better look. I highly suggest reading this:

It is very helpful for landscaping and all around medieval scenes. I hope it helps :)
Thanks, I already bookmarked that guide a while ago, It's fantastic but you need so many parts, well hehe, you know where my parts are :P
This is just a beginning though, I'm exploring different themes back again, mainly buildings (that are fixed to the land instead of a hull :P ) |

Nice set! The landscaping and ruins look quite natural, not overdone. How about a little story to go with it? Makes me think of the reimagined King Arthur show last year. Well done, Dude! |
