Holy cow I uploaded something for the first time in YEARS!!!!
About this creation
Lets just say that I didn't have exactly all the peices I needed and after several orders from pick-a-brick I was finally able to complete my creation. Lets just say the the total figure for the peices is one that I am not happy admit was a very high. There is room for expansion if I choose to do so in the future, and you guys will see pictures if I do so. But after hours of toil I present to you Castle Herrko.

























































































































      I had a lot of fun building this castle - it is my largest to date. I started it January 2012 and worked on it here and there until mid May when it was finally ready for the minifigs to move in. During this project my I had repeated "episodes" of starring into space trying to decide how I wanted the next lump of castle to be. Although it is taking a bit of time, everyone (neighbours, and friends) were becoming more and more interested and involved in my hobby (yes!!).


      I very much appreciate many of the other 'castle' creations posted online, as they are not only wonderful to look at, but provide me with many great ideas and ingenious building techniques - so thank you fellow builders! As always, thank you for your comments, suggestions for improvement, and for stopping by. Enjoy!

This is indeed a beautiful castle. Some of the architectural details are inspiring, especially the big window.

A beautiful castle! Many things to like here. My only suggestions would be to try to get the lighting in all the photos as bright as you have it in about half of them. Also, if you select the large photo option when you set up the page it would be easier to view! Those suggestions are only because I like the build so much I want to see it closer and brighter!
