People change lightsaber colours all the time. Obi-Wan had a green lightsaber for a while, Mace Windu had a blue one. You don't have to keep to one colour

Hang on... I just looked him up on Wookieepedia and in the pictures he has a blue lightsaber.

It doesn't matter. Colours don't mean your on a certain side, for example Ferus Olin, a Padawan before the Clone Wars, used a red lightsaber. It just so happens that red is most associated with the Sith as green and blue are with the Jedi
