This is the first in a series of off-beat Star Wars mocs entitled the worst jobs in Star Wars - or - couldn't you get a droid to do that! George Lucas always bemoaned the fact you don't get to see much of the garbage compactor monster in Star Wars, and what you do see is pretty uninspiring. The dionaga (for that is the beast in the compactor) deserved to be bigger and more ominous. Well here it is in all its glory. Imagine a week before Luke and friends land on the Death Star, this poor engineer is sent down to check out why compactor C7 is malfunctioning - messy!

"funny" all those children whith very limited lego skills that says "I give you a 3 blabla".
Anyway this is excellent, very original, and yeah at least a convincing Dianoga monster ! The only thing is it very sad for the engineer but oh well, I guess he's used to do that, I hope. Great !

I keep finding MOCs of yours and wondering how I missed them: then I remember there's over 100! This is great fun, very creative and a nice build too. I like the creature and the "box" that the vignette sits in. The way that the creature is escaping from the vignette gives me the impression of how active & wriggly it is and what a hard time the engineer is having to deal with it. |

Very good vignette, but I have to agree with Space Gypsy: The Dianoga is so big that you can't see much of the rest of the vig. Your score = 3 |
