The Great Force War: Mission 4: Resistance
Battle for Balmorra- The Mandalorian Return
About this creation
We attacked the Sith on Balmorra today; and while I have yet to hear if the entire planet is ours, our group has succeeded in our mission to capture one of the Sith's many outposts.

We had met with the resistance leaders, and formed two squads. One was to attack the upper level while the other attacked the main level. We went through entire base fairly easily, it wasn't until the final area where we had trouble. The head Sith of the base, along with a Sith apprentice, acolyte, and a neo sith-trooper, were waiting for us on the deck extending from the base that was overlooking the speeder repair yard.

ToeToe, Jaina, two resistance members, a colicoid assault droid, and an ewok refuge who somehow tagged along with us from Endor were in my group. We fought hard, and in the end we won. Unfortunately the droid did not make it out alive, and Toe Toe was badly injured.

Jaina, my sister, (who upon saving during our last mission had woken up from the trance the sith had placed her in) had fought with us. I do not think she has entirely shaken off the hold of the darkside, but at least now she fights with us and not against us.

But I know she will pull through, she was always strong. I'm just glad right now to have her back.

The biggest surprise was when a group of Mandalorians appeared and began helping us. Or rather who was leading them was the surprise, my mother...

She came in and helped those below defeat the remaining sith forces before they could hurt anyone else. Unfortunately they were a little over-zealous to defeat those who had so badly wounded our people during the Mandalorian Uprising; they killed a non-combatant.

Now we have much to catch up on while we hold the base. How my mother had survived the Sith's Mandalorian Purge is beyond me, but she did and now all of my family who are left are together again.

Quoting Harry 863 Some nice details here Fell and the figs look good. Perhaps focus on one part of the battle moreso so you can really show off the detail. 20/30
Yeah, you're probably right, I should have just focused on one area. But I wanted to bring the mother in and couldn't do it on the deck with the characters I already had on there, and I wanted to bring in all previously used and alive characters. But in retrospect I probably should have not done that.

Quoting Duncan L It's a good start. You have some great figures but I feel the MOC is a bit too busy. You have too much of a good thing. However some of the other details were pretty nice. Your score: 10.5/30
I was attempting to distract from the boring base plate everything is set on ;P. The idea was that war is a busy business, if you see close combat battles they typically have lots going on and are chaotic.
