The 'Valkyrie' Bounty Hunters
Taking warriors to their graves...
About this creation
There are mechs with a price on their CPU. The Valkyries exist to crack some cockpits and collect the cash. Each member exists to back up their fellows.

Dynamo

Pyromaniacal, slightly insane and an expert at bezerking, Dynamo's pilot is the head exploder on the team. He is armed with four high-output-short-range missiles and a chunk of protomag high explosive. Like all of the team, his tech doesn't come cheap, but with the money on their targets they can afford to burn (literally) some cash. His purple-wave heavy light thruster is incredibly inefficient for travel, but it's perfect for jetting in close to plant some explosives or nail a rocket in a target's sensor bay.

Lodestone

Clam headed, smart and one heck of a good shot, Lodestone's pilot is the team's leader and sniper. His four purple-waves are more efficient than Dynamo's, but still not made for long range flight. They are used to keep agile in the air, as a distraction and because the Lodestone's vision linked scope doesn't need the same stillness a normal sniper requires.

Solenoid

Head strong, yet patient and not an ammo spammer, Solenoid pilot controls the damage taking unit in the team. In a video game his class would be 'tank', and with good reason. Not only can he take multiple hits from most weapons his twin magnetic drives can be used two ways. To push metallic rounds away, or to pull rounds towards it. The latter may seem counter intuitive, but this can be used to protect the rest of the team. His weapon fires the same high-velocity-high-impact rounds as Lodestone's sniper rifle, but has a small clip, higher fire rate and less accuracy. Mounted underneath the rifle is the most prominent feature of the gun. A grenade launched loaded up with heavy light rounds, capable of piercing shield, but not terribly effective on the targets them selves.

The head CAN tilt vertically, as shown in the pictures.

In Action

The Valkyries part-way through laying waste to a Shorty Light Artillery Mech (yes, guys, I did get permission from the owner), which is a relatively easy target.

What you get in the box... erm... well, LXF anyways.

Hope you enjoyed my ramblings (both textual and creational). As a prize for reading everything, I'll tell you what I have planned: A new CBMC Classic, a Thunder Dawn version of my Shuriken, my own take on the never-finished collaborative hovertank, the Hummingbird II and absolutely TONS of Minecraft-based procrastination. =D

Quoting TF Twitch I have to agree that you have a well-rounded group here. My favorite part is the "bullet magnet" concept since I have honestly never seen something like that before, Mecha or otherwise.
It's inspired by the common RPG ability of 'taunt' which focuses enemy attacks on the user, allowing more efficient 'tanking'.

Hi, I just noticed that you dropped out of the Moccer Cup because you thought that LDD wasn't allowed. LDD is now allowed, so, why not sign up before the 7th and you will have a place in the contest. Thank you.

Quoting Me23456789 ("Me2" or "Me") Good work! It looks to me like you managed to get all the basic necessities of an all-purpose team in there (Tank, Sniper, Assault, Demo, etc.) and they look like they'd work well together. I also like that you added extra articulation to the UGM's head. Looks like I've got some competition! =)
Now we just wait for #3... *yawns*
