I seem to be on another uploading streak. Anyway, this ship was made back in June last year. I was going for a sleek, pursuit craft, and I think I caught that look pretty well.
About this creation
Front view. I just really love the look of the cockpit.
Front view no. 2. Because of the hinges I used, slight vibrations can cause the wings to re-adjust themselves unevenly, which is what you see in this picture.
Side-shot with landing gear down. This was one of my favorite ships when it was built, and it still is. I believe I scrapped it to make a Cult diorama...
Engines. One of the goals I had in mind for this guy was to pack it with features. It has retractable landing gear, adjustable wings, and I think an opening cockpit.
This is the yeah-ima-board-you-now view. Halo reference, in case you didn't understand. You can get a pretty good look inside the cockpit from here.
The landing gear. The underside of the ship needs no landing gear, because with the atachments on the wings in landing position they are approximately the same height.
Folded gear. I won't kid; folding these things was absurdly frustrating. The 2 clips that held the things in place were so weak that they would constantly pop off whenever I tried to change the position.
Another cool shot. Similar to the first two, but this time the wings are in attack position.
And a final look at the cockpit. I thought those angled plates you see at the right looked really good stacked on top of each other.
