Yes this was obviously based off the original Engineer from Halo Combat Evolved. Maybe if you looked at the date this was posted you'd see that it was made 2 YEARS before ODST was ever released. How would I possibly have built a MOC based on a character from ODST if it hadn't even been released, let alone even thought of?

Sorry but that looks nothing like a engineer...maybe a older version but no.... they arent just pointless though, a engineer is the whole plot around halo 3 odst

I think your right about this being the first one on mocpages, congrats! I ve never seen one in any game (modded or otherwise) but I have seen pictures and they do play small roles in the Halo novels, I have to say that they are probably the most "alien" of all the covenant creatures and also one of the most interesting and imaginative. This MOC is well done for a first, and I think I might recognize some building inspiration from Brian K. too. Over good job IMO.
