My entry to the BCBS contest round for 'useless' parts. Enjoy :)
About this creation
Man, this is probably really close. Sorry about the photos. With white on him my usual editing process got screwed up... Gonna have to work on that.
Here's his bio.
Name: ??? (None)
Species: Unique Mix (Half robot, half animal)
Purpose: Servitude, (previously)
Creator: Unknown

Day 43, Test 86
The tests seemed to have worked. The creature is responding well to its new body. The added weight has become a problem to it, but it is working well towards becoming fused with the machines.
There have been some problems though. The addition of the two computer brains have caused the animal part of it to lose it emotion. The beast no longer feels emotion towards its old partner, nor its trainers. It has also seemed to have gained a new self-awareness. It is not truly aware of itself as we are, but it is instead becoming ignorant to the commands of the trainers. Along with those its body has begun rejecting the small additions to the animal brain. Soon it may separate that brain from its body, and if that happens there will be nothing to power the heart which powers the rest.
We have devised solutions to these problems and in the next few days will be trying to achieve the subordination of the creature. But it is a race against time, every hour the creature becomes more volatile. It has already injured three scientists and has come close to killing two of them. If things continue to go this way, we may have no choi...
*end of journal entry*
Now I will leave you all to imagine what happened to those scientists, as we continue to the pictures.

Here you have a nice look at his front.

His side.

His back, with a look at his strange tail. I stuck that in there to use it as I have meaning to for a while now.

His other side.

Attack pose! He can stand on his front two legs and use the back ones as weapons of sorts.

He can also fold his two computer brains back and rely on his animal brain. All three of which have working eyes, I'd like to see someone sneak up on that!

A close up on his chest. This is honestly my favorite part of the MOC.

My next favorite part of him. His two right arms! The green one is supposed to be an energy arm from which he can use multiple tools.

Some of my trickier components. I also used a Hero Factory 4.0 torso, not for a torso mind you, which I am kind of happy about. EDIT: I also forgot to picture that I used the black Bohrok head pieces.
Creators comments: I am quite happy with this. My main purpose was to really use the hockey set pieces, but I didn't get to use as many as I wanted. I also wanted this guy to have a mechanical look about him, I think I achieved that. Though, my first instinct was to make wheels for his legs, I am not so skilled as to be able to do that well. Anyway, I am happy with him.

Okay, I am loving this! Not just because it looks cool, but you are doing one of the greatest building methods ever to a massive scale! Taking a part that has next to no use whatsoever and finding a new way to use it! Thank you, I knew as soon as I heard the category of useless parts that I had to use the hockey pieces. I appreciate your praise. :)

Could we get him to sign a contract with the Chicago Blackhawks?? Beastly. Good Luck in the BCBS! You might, but I like to see a jersey that would fit him! Thank you.

Hey, I just remembered that the torso has two black Bohrok head pieces in it, you know, the ones that were like it's skull. I should have put that in the pieces picture. Oh well... |
