After many months of work through the last year, I present you my last supercar: a Land-Rover Deffender (110 version).
Yes, for me it is a supercar, it is not a truck trial or a normal 4x4. Yes, I know, it is very high and square, but it has many advanced features and solutions, and for me it is enought to call it supercar.
Note: The number with the name means the wheelbase in inches, 110 in this case, it is the most used. But nowadays exist 90, 110 and 130 versions.
This model is made in 1:8.4 scale, thus remains in 28 studs wide, 65 of length and 29 of high (without roof).
It have 5+R speeds secuential gearbox, with auto clutch.
The mechanism disconnect the clutch, change the speed and connect it again, pushing only once the controller.
I know this is not realistic, but I you want to control the gearbox remotely, this is the only way to do it.
It looks amazing! The removable body is a great feature, but its mechanical/functional prowess is just stunning!
It's built to the same scale and same 28 stud width as my LS400. However, yours has 6 more motors!!!
Sensational Work :-)
Quoting dans lego creations .
hey sheepo great work very acurate in functionality and shape any chance of a gearbox instruction
Now I am making instructions for the whole car. But to share instructions only for the gearbox I will need some more time, because some mechamisn of the gearbox(as clutch lever) are in the chassis, not in the drive train...

I also saw it in Top Gear magazine, which is amazing! Have you got much more support on cuusoo since then? I'm sure after Top Gear featured it you'll have no problem reaching 10,000!
Actually not... since the published of the magazine it only have gotten 500 to 600 votes in cuusoo... but it is no bad at all!!!
I just read my monthly issue of Top Gear magazine... and needless to say that this MOC was in the "Some more things worth buying this month" section! It even had a link to the Cuucoo page! Congratulations!
Wow, that's amazing! I saw a thumbnail on Google Image search and thought that it was a photo of the real car! This time you've combined your great Technic details with perfect body shaping. Great job! By the way: Enhorabuena a "La Roja" - Triple campeones! :-))
This is definatly your best car yet. You are so far ahead of everyone else in terms of mechanical features in your vehicles. You have to put up a tutorial for designing sequential gearboxes and disk brakes.
This is spectacular... all those functions and gears and... wow... you must have a gearbox running in your brains and lego wires instead your blood-wires. And the model is so realistic, without those typical gaps technick style cars usually do. Amazing!!!
I like it

excellent, instantly recognisable, first class details too.
This model just made my day. I like all the clever technniques used in this car. The disc brakes are something I haven't seen before. I am a big Defender fan and this the best I've seen so far. I want to give more than a 5, but unfortunetly I can't :(, so you get a well deserved 5.
Working disc brakes on a technic car? That alone deserves a full score :) The rest is pure awesome. I donīt build nearly anything Technic. But this is the best example Iīve ever seen what you can achieve with Power Functions. Great engineering.
So, um... I've been working on a LR Defender 110 too, in fact I was getting ready to order some parts for it then I saw this. Well, I think I might move most of my building to my P71 now haha. This is almost identical in appearance to mine, but a million times better. Simply amazing. I couldn't ever imagine packing so many features into one model. You're forever my favorite technic builder, right up there with Sariel. This is by far, the best model I have ever seen. It makes me want to get another Land Rover so bad. Flawless and amazing, keep up the best work!
