Kerata is a strange mute being very fond of collecting skulls and using them to decorate his body. He holds a staff with a lantern in order to light his surroundings. The transparent areas of his body show some of his organic functions.

Placing a skull in the backpack.

Time to explain the pieces:
Piraka skulls: I find them really hard to utilize. Their overall appearance, meaning and quite loose balljoints are something tough to work with.
Witch Doctor head: It's always hard to figure a way to use masks, but the way these attach is an almost impossible challenge.
Metru skull: Again, something hard to utilize for anything else than as a head.
Eyepieces: There's been only 1 time when I've figured an alternate use for these.
Rahkshi shoulders: Odd in shape, therefore hard to use, even as shoulders for a moc. Here they fit nicely.
Rhotuka spinner: Really hard to use, but could be fit into an axle, inspired by Cameron G's Boreas.
Mata skull: Hard to use again. Don't flex, hard to remove the eyes, etc, etc. Worked for heels in this case.
Neon yellow cylinder: I've never used these on a biomoc. They're kinda hard to fit in a proper way.
HF chestpiece: Need I say more? They're chests, how am I suppose to use them as something else? Plus the way they attach makes them really hard to use.
The Mistika aim cross: Really hard for anything else than aiming.

Now, as I heard what the challenge was, I immediately started to think of jason corlett's Wasteland Scavengers. This moc was pretty much built around the theme, but as for the color scheme I feel this doesn't do much glory to it, so I left the story out. The name of Kerata got derived from the Finnish word 'kerätä', which means literally 'to collect'. I mostly concentrated on using many different hard-to-use pieces in order to have unique results. I think that skull chest is a pretty neat result, hmm?
Thanks for looking!
