This is the Halberd Tactical Fireteam: Riflemen Infantry Tactical Fireteam. The Infantry squad is formed of fifteen individuals, who are sub-divided into five fireteams consisting of three inviduals per team. The entire unit is trained to function with minimal logistical support; utilizing special equipment to lengthen operation time.
Armed with caseless rifles and sub-machine guns, the Halberd Fireteam is able to carry three times as much ammunition with the same weight as conventional cased weapons. This effectively allows the Halberd Fireteam to operate much longer and avoid supply chains. As a result, the Halberd Riflemen is usually trained and equipped for low profile operations as opposed to direct warfare.
Halberd Riflemen are trained together in permanent units to promote cooperation between soldiers.
Caseless rifles provide long range firepower while submachine guns dominate close range battles.
The Fireteam carries surplus supplies and equipment to lengthen operational time.
