Hero Factory Mike Shade
Back again, this time with a Hero factory moc!
About this creation
Okay, I'm trying out a newer light-box that I finished this morning. Though about halfway through my light went out, so I had fun trying to take pics without it. XD

Before we get to the moc, I would like to say first that this was inspired by Overlord Galaxus' Edmund Cliffhanger, which can be seen here. And I probably need to say thanks Mom for letting me get two Toxic Reapa's after finishing my exams. XD

Now, on to the bio.

Name: Mike Shade
Species: Robot, Hero
Team: None, works alone
Location: Makuhero City, (assuming I spelled that right)
Classification: Top Secret, Special Hero
Names: Shade, Mike, Hero, Flamethrower, Last Resort
Weapons: Flamethrower Arm
Story: Shade is one of Hero Factory's most strange and secret heros, as in few people even know of his existence. He was created using the remains of ancient beings that were preserved in a cave deep underground. Those who know of him say that he has some of the "ancient essence" that was told to be possessed by two type of the "ancient beings". One type is a special type that supposedly was like the heros of today. The name that they were called by the ancients has long been forgotten by all but few, but much evidence seems to support the theory that these ancient heros possessed powers. Powers that allow them to control the environment around them. The second type seemed to posses a dark power according to legend, and they were the "villains" of the ancient times. Legends and stories tell of grand battles between these two beings, and one story tells of a war in which almost all beings of the ancient times were destroyed. Caves have been found where preserved beings and evidence of their culture have been found.

With all of the evidence supporting the myth that these beings were god like possessing powers, Hero Factory tried several experiments with the remains of these beings. Mike Shade is supposedly one of those experiments. Hero Factory denies such gossip, but the stories of most of the villains this hero has brought to justice seems to support the theory...

On to the moc!!

Here he is just standing.

His back, with his jetpack on.

Jetpack detached.

His chest, and heartlight/hero core thing. Because he is made from the remains of the "ancient beings" I figured, why not go with a heartlight? (the real reason? I don't like using hero cores...)

Running at some villain in the distance! I think...

Ah! We seemed to have spotted something!

Taking aim!

Eat fire sucka!

He apparently thinks he's got swag...
Hey! I got more swag than you!
True that...

His flamethrower arm.

Releasing green fire.

Anyone hungry? I think I hit a few birds flying by...

So that's where my jetpack went!

Let's put it on shall we?

You know, its a LOT harder to put this on than you'd think...

I think I put it on right...

How does it look?
Could look better...
Hey!
Kidding! Jeeze... sensitive.

Bye guys!! Thanks for viewing!!

Creators Comments: Well, that was a fun build! He was quite a challenge at times, but I think I did well on all but the legs. By the time I got to the legs I was like, "Whatever" and went with the Hero factory bones.

Any advice or constructive criticism welcome.
Thanks for viewing!

Quoting Clever Crowe Love to see those HF pieces being put to good use. Like the helms-as-shoulder-pauldrons, too. Man, I love that sculpt; they really outdid themselves. Very nice work here, cheers!
Thank you. I knew as soon as I saw the Toxic Reapa helmets that I needed to use them as shoulder armor. They did indeed. Thank you again.

Quoting Mudslide, Master of Metru-Nui Awsome!!! Very smooth nad bice look. Mabye a hero core insted of a heart light? Anyway awsome moc!!!
Thank you. I would have used a hero core, but there were two reasons not to. One, I HATE those hero cores. Two is that I tried to put one on there, but it kept swinging around and that was really really annoying. Thanks though!

Quoting Terilis the Phantom Master Beast flamethrower, really like the bionicle reference. I actually have a reference to hero factory on one of my Mocs, but you know.
Thank you. I was never really good with hero factory taking over for bionicle, so story wise I used that to make things make more sence in my mind.
