Incom T-65 X-wing with completely rectractable Landing gear (final Version)
A model of an SW X-Wing most remarkable about it:1. the size between the size of a Lego 4502 Kit and the UCS..2. the landing gear
About this creation
recnet Changes :I finally found the time to link the last pictures of it,if you have been here before, don't expect too much, there are really no big changes.Unfortunately there are no pictures of the landing gear online at the moment.i'll fix this ASAP.

I told you:no big changes, except for the slope bricks on the wings.

A look-down shot maybe the size(especially lenght)of the the lasercannons is not perfect, but for being honest:I always regarded the cannons of the Movie X-wing as far too big.

(sigh) one the disadvantages of using a tapered fuselage,is the impossibility to attach a flap to cover the front landing gear in flight.or maybe..?

I confess that I "borrowed" a lot of detail ideas for my model, but i'm pretty sure that this hinges are my original idea (meaning:to use those parts as Wing hinges)

A detail shot of the shield generator

a Detail shot of the cockpit and the Astromech socket

what do you do with two engine hulls that have enough space for a landing gear,if you don't need those gears on the upper side?-Right you use it for the engines.

I don't see anything wrong with it at all. It's pretty much perfect. I don't see it being boxy. It looks exactly like in hte movie...anyway more pics would be nice! Also, I have one question...how was this picture taken in December of 2007 when it's only June? PS-can you review some of my creations? Thanks...

Excellent but the nose is a little too blocky, if you have those fancy slope front and to the side pieces I would use those.
