In my religion, when human dies he have three ways: Heaven, Hell or Purgatory. God judge him and decide what pass he have to go.
I built this scene for all of you, remember about death, "memento mori".

An excellent a creative build. I really like the idea. As for the inspiration behind this build, I would have to agree with Christopher Baldacci. But the MOC itself is great! I love the forced perspective. And the technique for the sun is ingenious! How did you do it?

I like the clouds technique, and the forced perspective beyond the doors. But where do you find purgatory in the bible? |

"Once to every man and nation comes the moment to decide, in the strife of truth with falsehood for the good or evil side. Some great cause, God's new Messiah, offering each the bloom or blight, parts the goats upon the left hand and the sheep upon the right. And the choice goes by for ever 'twixt that darkness and that light." -James Russell Lowell |

Nice! I love the artistic representaion of the judgement seat - a bright future awaits those who put their trust in the Lord; not so for those who reject him. Great job! Although, as a Protestant, I would disagree that purgatory is an option. The Bible is clear Christ's crucifixion was sufficent for the payment of our sins. There is no extra PURification process (PURgatory) that needs to take place before people go to heaven. If you "confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." If people do this, they have accepted Christ's redemptive work Soli Fide - by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) - and have been made right with God. At that moment they are fit to enter heaven. However, from a purely LEGO perspective A++ work here! I'd like to see more Biblical MOCs from you - I'm sure you'd nail them. :D Great job! |
