This is my entry to BCBS monthly competition. Sly was once a bright fun-loving hero. But then, everything changed when he stumbled across a rare mineral that has the power to corrupt any life-giving substance. As it turns out, the mineral was given to him by the villain described in my story, Hero Factory: Planet At War. The villain who poisoned him took him as a servant. I hope you like the creativity that I put into this moc.

I just wanted to say that you could do something for the voting. Just make a dummy e-mail account and use that. You don't have to use it for anything else, so there is no worries about anything else. It's not hard to do. Though you might want to ask your parents about it. |

Good question. What is unique about this contest is that we will be able to cast our votes anonymously so that we don't have to worry about peer pressure from having our votes publicly posted on a thread. We want the voting to be as honest as possible without people feeling hurt by questions of "why didn't he vote for me" or "so and so doesn't like me" or whatever. The way we addressed this problem was by taking the voting to an email account we created for the sole purpose of voting in this group. We will ignore non-vote related email and ask that all other group business be done on the threads. We won't contact you for any reason at your return address, even if you mess up your vote. We realize this is a bit of an innovation in MOCpages circles, but it will serve a very important purpose, which is, to bring you the honest appraisal of your peers. If circumstances prevent you from using your email address, we apologize, but we don't want to have separate voting thread for those who can't use the email. It becomes way to messy, and spoils one of the coolest aspects of the Society. Please feel free to hang out and be a part, but you won't be able to compete without using email voting. We hope something works out for you to participate. Perhaps you could create a separate email just for voting with and ditch it when you're done.
If you need a day to work it out, you got it.
Listen, I highly admire your eagerness and zeal, but it is just not worth it to me. :(

Are you sure you can't have someone send me your votes (anyone?)
There's a good reason (contest-wise) why we're doing it this way, but we don't want to you to get in trouble, so the choice is yours. Here's what has been said about the voting in the rules and threads, just so you know where we're coming from. Thanks and best wishes:
D. Those without an email address can send it using their parent’s email (with their permission, of course) or someone else’s email (Get permission from them and your parents, Okay?!)
E. If you don’t vote by the 21st, sorry but your MOC will be disqualified from that month’s contest. Try again next month.
G. I promise not to do anything with your return email address. Honest, we don’t have any desire or motivation to.

Why do we need to use email to vote? Besides,I don't want to give out my email away. :/

Hello, it's Das Greebler here. This is a reminder. You have to vote to stay in the contest. See "Voting" in the rules and vote before the 21st by email. Thanks!
Sorry, dude. I'm not going to get into a bunch of e-mail stuff. Thanks for the reminder, but I think it would be easier for everybody if you just opened a conversation bar. |

Maybe not the hardes-to-use parts, but they are used exellently!
Thanks. I looked for some hard-to-use pieces in my collection, but I simply could not find any. I guess that is a good thing. I am, after all, very selective with my purchases. :) |

You definitely captured the evil look :)
Thanks. This is my first attempt at an evil moc, so it is nice
to hear that it is good. |

Quoting Andrew Carroll Thanks. Like I said earlier, I'm not really a good candidate for the comp anyway, because I could not find any hard-to-use pieces in my collection. Well, perhaps the following months' categories will be fairer to you. :) Oh, and I judged most of the entries so far in the Make Your Self-MOC a Chibi Contest Judging Table.
Excellent.

Great moc mate as usual. Im really thinking of doing that jetpack weapon for one of my heroes. It looks great. But I'll try to make it a little different and I'll make sure I'll give credit. Lovin' that Bulk mask as always!
;P
Thanks. Feel free to use any of my techniques at will. Bulk mask? Don't forget to judge! :) |

I like how this looks! Thanks for posting. I'm glad you did such a good job with the parts you had even if they weren't especially weird. Keep competing! Here's a bit of Info: Please add a link to the Round One Entry Thread. Just cut and paste the URL into a comment on that thread and Bingo! This will help us keep the different challenges separate moving forward. Thanks!
Got it. Thanks for the complements.

First of all, the MOC itself is pretty cool, nice work! Not sure how inventive the parts use is here (sorry), but good entry to the BCBS anyway!
