What is unique about this contest is that we will be able to cast our votes anonymously so that we don't have to worry about peer pressure from having our votes publicly posted on a thread. We want the voting to be as honest as possible without people feeling hurt by questions of "why didn't he vote for me" or "so and so doesn't like me" or whatever. The way we addressed this problem was by taking the voting to an email account we created for the sole purpose of voting in this group. We will ignore non-vote related email and ask that all other group business be done on the threads. We won't contact you for any reason at your return address, even if you mess up your vote. We realize this is a bit of an innovation in MOCpages circles, but it will serve a very important purpose, which is, to bring you the honest appraisal of your peers. If circumstances prevent you from using your email address, we apologize, but we don't want to have separate voting thread for those who can't use the email. It becomes way to messy, and spoils one of the coolest aspects of the Society. Please feel free to hang out and be a part, but you won't be able to compete without using email voting. We hope something works out for you to participate. Perhaps you could create a separate email just for voting with and ditch it when you're done.
