"Looks like your new hosts have a Harrier 2." - Colonel Campbell
You first encounter the Harrier fighter jet when you travel to the top of one of the Big Shell facility's struts. It is landed there, an intimidating sight indeed when you are trying to figure out how to extract hostages via helicopter... Yes, my LEGO model does have retractable landing gear.

"Our chances with a Harrier after us are close to nothing." - Pliskin (Solid Snake)
Solidus Snake later jumps off a bridge and lands atop the Harrier, which is being flown by Vamp. He then climbs into the cockpit with him... I know! My Harrier is too small and can't fit both characters like it's supposed to! Still, I think it's a cool-looking model, and it's very hard to make it perfect.

"Raiden, this is the Stinger missile launcher! The Kasatka can't stand up to the Harrier! You have to shoot the Harrier down!" - Pliskin (Solid Snake)
Raiden is forced to shoot the Harrier down with a Stinger missile launcher provided by Snake, while protecting Snake and Otacon in their helicopter. I know that this is a really terrible image, but I just felt it was necessary to take some kind of action shot...

"That's Metal Gear! It's already active!" - Raiden
At the moment when the Harrier can fly no longer, Revolver Ocelot bursts from the sea piloting Metal Gear RAY and catches the fighter jet in RAY's mouth! As you can see in this shot, I added some little machine guns poking from the nose. I know that they aren't very realistic, but I felt that it needed them.

Then Vamp leaps out of the cockpit like a fool, but don't worry, because he can run on water thanks to some otherworldly powers or something... (and you thought Psycho Mantis was weird) Then the bad guys blow up the bridge, but Raiden unfortunately manages to survive the blast... (Shoot! I'll never get to play as Snake again if this kid keeps on surviving!)

Dude it's pretty sweet but u might have tilted the wings a bit to much, but I've never made a harrier before so who am i to judge?!?! But over-all it's pretty good. |

For a video game, it is pretty good. For an ACTUAL harrier, it is not right at ALL! That's okay, though. |
