A new hot-rod I built to try out some new ideas. Both in Lego and in concept...
About this creation

...That intro was bizarrely philosophical, sorry. Won't happen again.

So anyway, it seems then that what you're looking at is another cliche shiny black hot-rod. But you're wrong. (That sounded too philosophical... my bad, it happened again.)

Between the artsy photos you'll notice that the typical V-8 has been removed... and in it's place, a lighter Inline 6 has been bolted. (And again...)

The engine is coupled with new exhaust which comes out the back through 2 massive exhaust pipes.

You might also note, that while there is a license plate, it contains no lettering... Oh wait, that's just because it's Lego. Move along.

The engine is kept cool through a state of the art intake system, which perches quietly on top the super-charged I-6 nest of doom.(And again.....)

The single visible exhaust, which isn't because it has 1 cylinder, but more or less because I couldn't figure out how to make the pneumatic tubing bend into the shape of an exhaust header. (Mortalswordsman, De Tomaso, you wanted to know if there was something I couldn't do... this and flying are currently beyond me).=P

über happy seat cover! =] The shifter is a piston rod, and the knob on the seat is *supposed to be* the little clicky bit of the seat belt!

Thanks for viewing!

Wow, that's a really cool Rod! The design is very smooth and I like the idea of a smoothly running inline-6 engine instead of the rougher V8s usually used for the Hot Rods. Great job! :-)) |

Philosophy Yuck! :P Nice rod tho. I like the seat, looks kinda like an old seat cover we had. I have to agree with everyone else, it does look bigger than it actually is. Mostly put off from the technic you used on the tires. |
