The most recent addition to ArcheoGenis unmanned forces features a roomy cockpit, but no pilot. Why?
About this creation
ArcheoGenis' continuous, expensive research in EAPs (Artificial Evolved Personalities) allows for more and more complex autonomous units, like the ABM 141/3 "Zector" hive mech.
Designed as a standard anti-tank close combat mech, the Zector's main weapon are Plasma Claws, a set of blade-shaped plasma streams contained by a force field. These blades can shear heavy plating with little effort, but require close combat to be used.
This model's defenses inclure Bionite plating, regenerative structure and an extensive set of Power Plates. The energy requirements are very high, so in addition to its Core, it equips energy syphons on its back, which collect heat and EM radiations from the environment to recharge the Core.
After confirming the exceptional quality of the model's EAP, Command got rid of the pilots, and replaced them with a modified MAOX MurderBot. The cokpit can also be filled with drones of any kind.
The MB12(AG version) is a tiny avatar of death. Once deployed it displays a devastating firepower, stunning speed and absolute lethality in close combat. This high performance can only be maintained for about 3 minutes, after that the drone has hardly enough energy to crawl back in to recharge.
It's armed anti-infantry or light vehicles plasma guns, a power saw and Power Plates.
The Zector has still more surprises. His hips host a mini-BioTank.
The MBT 04 is a tiny plated drone equipped with a little Stream Gun. It's extremely durable and quite agile on most terrains.
Zector's head can detach too, and though it's quite slow, it can fire its 2 miniguns until the emergency ammo under its skull plate are depleted (about 10 seconds of continuous fire). Normally the ammo get there via its neck from the 4 crates in the cockpit.

First mecha in 6 months! I kept it very simple, I hope the quality didn't suffer too much :)
Note #1: I really like how its "split" legs came out.

No, è solo che dove sto adesso non ho un vero spazio per costruire. Ogni volta devo tirare fuori tutto, costruire un pò e poi rimettere via. E poi sono costretto a costruire solo cose piccole. |

lol it's not my fault. Heads are designed that way, and I just sort of go with the flow, in order to get a consistent look. |

Sweet. That black minimech is definitely my favorite. It looks really sinister, like it would wait on someone's ceiling while they are sleeping. The mech itself is really cool looking as well. Great work! |
