Kenworth W900 Dump Truck
1:17 scale model of a dump truck, again it's a Kenworth W900, this time built in blue with lot of chromed parts
About this creation
Yes, I used again my cabin from W900 Rotator. But with some major changes, inluding completely rebuild hood part.

The goal was to have fully IR controlled dump truck, which caused lot of troubles due to high mass of tipper bed (over 0,6kg). This model is driven by single XL motor, front wheels are steered by M motor, second axle can be raised by single M motor, and the tipper is raised by XL motor. Total mass ~2,6kg.

And here you can see how it works:

Thanks for watching :)

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 the truck is amazing! I m loving what you did by sculpting the hood shape, it looks superb, the video shows this piece in all it s greatness, it s surprisingly quick as it rolls around your living room, I m no expert in trucks, but, you are, lol! so why the extra pair of wheels? I don t get to see that many wheels on the trucks where I live, [quebec] is it for heavy loads?
Yes, more wheels = less presure that truck make on ground.

Quoting 2ror ornot2ror You should take more pictures of your suspension and lift axle stuff on your models.
It's not easy when models weight few kgs :) Anyway, there's nothing interesting there, just a reduction with gears in the drive, and the lift axle is raised by single smal linear actuator powered by M motor.

This thing is a beuty! Nice work! The only thing is is the middle bar for the widshield should be tilted just like the outside bars. It looks a little bit odd like it is, but other than that, nice truck. As chris melby said, the peterbilt 379 has been done to death.
