Millenia ago, there was a war.
A war so drastic that many thought of it as the apocalypse
Scientists found a way to genetically breed Toa for certain elements, however the only negative is that that element has to be constantly pumped through their bodies
This discovery was kept confidential
They then created 6 special Toa in hopes that they would put an end to the war.
6 Toa went in that day

…And so we were told that victory wouldn’t even be a question. It was a given. They were wrong. They all were wrong. We confronted the enemy. We fought long and hard. I could feel it, as we were losing, the war was going worse and worse. The six of us unleashed our full elemental potential. The enemy was disintegrated, but in the course, 5 good Toa, dead and one crippled for life- Me. I was good for nothing, unable to walk anymore, half of a left arm and burnt to a crisp!! Do you know how this feels?! To be mocked and told useless?! USELESS! That is worse than any death blow! To have no purpose is to have no life at all!! I was enraged and fell into such a despair, falling deeper every day. I cut my own Flourine tubes in my depression. I managed a few days and death became the clear result. I made makeshift pipes that work on the circulating fluorine already inside of me and had to wear a gas mask. I repaired a few of my limbs, but I became over come by an idea and became obsessed over it. I became a surgeon hoping it would help my despair. I tell you, days on end of watching others enjoy a joy that you would be forevermore exempted from! I slowly lost my sane thoughts being replaced by a desire to kill- to get revenge on others. I became insane with no conception of reality. This my friends is my last recording for I fear I will not be able to think straight…
…But you wouldn’t understand, now would you?...
Here's my entry for the Periodic Contest 2- My opponent being Super Pikmin (I hope this qualifies =)) For clarification, this does stand on its own. I am sorry for the sloppiness, but he was supposed to look a bit of it so I hope you'll excuse me :)

You really nailed the creepy vibe. Seriously, I'm genuinely spooked. That narrative was perfect. The build is a tad simple, maybe add a few more armor fragments so that it resembles a Toa more. Of course, this just makes it look even more damaged. Great job. |
