Blencathra, Cumbria, North West.
Situated at the foot of Blencathra, Threlkeld's Old Mission Room was built in 1885 by the Keswick & District Christian Workers' Band using Lakeland slate rubble for the walls and green slate tiles.
A quick little build I did the other day. These are based on the Lilliput Lane cottages and I wanted to get a lot of the smaller simpler ones out of the way before I start on the more larger challenging ones. Nothing really special here with this one, just a nice English cottage.
Only took one pic of this.

Amazing! Let's make it 60 likes! Nice detail on the house, and lot's of plant pieces. Secretly, I am jealous..... not a secret anymore, I suppose! Anyway... get creation, and keep up the good work! 5/5 |

That is just great. The textures you get are always so creative. I really like the roof edges and walls of the house on this MOC. |

All well done here, it's a very good cottage, but there is still more that could be added to it. I do not know if you were attempting to achieve a cartoony effect, but the wavy brickwork has that kind of effect. The roof is very good and realistic, but the edge has an odd hole in the middle which could be filled with a stud piece or a half-pin. Too bad you did not make the rounded base a bit more segmented, it looks a bit edgy this way. This is definitely an excellent creation, highly above average, but just somewhere around your average. It is a good thing that you know how good each of your creations is and you treat them accordingly. |

Beautiful work as ever Luke, this is very true to the original cottages. My company was commissioned to produce David Winter Cottages in cross stitch in the 90s, they were similar to the Lilliput Lane ones - so this really caught my eye. I hope you'll be making more of these, your techniques are perfect for them! |

Epic, to say the least. The odd angled horizontal tiles work superbly for that realistic rural look. Great, once again! |
