This craft is designed for preliminary scouting of asteroids and new planets being considered for terraforming. The "Pug" scans for minerals as well as collecting topographical and deep scan geological data. The interior houses a small research facility, engineering station, equipment specialist, and pilot.

I like the name: goes well with the shape of this spacecraft. The whole thing could be straight from a Peter Elson painting, which is brilliant. I like the styling, with the orange stripes at the back, the big windscreens and the greeblie VTOL engines. Lots of playability too. I would have loved this as a Lego set when I was 10! |

This is a great MOC. I really like the pivoting engines and big window for the cockpit. EXCELLENT! |

I surprised that this hasn't got more attention and comments than this, a great build, nice detailing all round and the cockpit/windscreen is a really original design! |

Nice unique build. You have a talent for color usage. I like the splashes of orange in this one. Nice use of the canopies in this build, and the VTOL look is very effective. |

Rugged and very cool. The cockpit with the sideways plates is great. |

Thanks Chris and Luke! Orange is one of my favorite colors, and I was psyched when Lego started producing bricks in that color. I just wish there were a greater variety of parts available. |

Gorgeous little S and R craft. I like the engine pods the most. Very well done! ^Blub^
Thanks! The engine pods were the second step after getting the basic outline for the cockpit done. I needed to figure out what they would be before laying out the rest of the ship. |

I seriously just found you moments ago but I'm already a fan. I read your homepage and we are very similar except for the function thing; I'd always prefer function. I too love to be creative. Lego is perfect for me because I can excercise many of my passions: designing, creating, art/color, and engineering. The engineering part is probably what makes me enjoy functionality more. Anyway, did mean to rant just excited about a fellow bricker like me. Great work here, all around. Good design, colors and story. Well done!
Hey, thanks a lot, Matt! It's nice to know there are others out there like me. Building is a great way to keep one's brain active and have fun at the same time.

Wow, thank you very much! This ended up being a little more ambitious than I'd initially intended once I got into it. |

VERY tight build. Excellent "stations", color scheme, style. Believable product. Looks highly professional. |
