This is the EF-2 Gray Ghost and is my creation for the "Space Elegant Fighter" competition that has space and high atmospheric
capabilities. Main requirements was to be between 12 and 18 inches in length, at least 90% studless and 1 pilot. Features include: Single seat cockpit with Thought-Relay Arming/Firing weapon system, ultra-aerodynamic "Hollow" airframe, 2 Hyper-Velocity Fusion turbines with 4 Mini-Boosters (under wings) and Tri-Cycle Landing Gear. Offensive systems include: 6 Light Laser Machine guns. Defensive systems include: Vanadium spaceframe with Kevlar plating, High-yield Shield generator pods (near turbines) and Viridian power grids. I welcome any comments or feedback. Thanks!

Nice concept. mine was inspired from the movie "Firefox". Quoting Archon Caledonia
I like your pilot/ship interface idea. One of the things I have used is the idea of a Magnetic Resonance Interface w/ Pilot or MRIP (mindripper). It uses magnetic field resonance to "read" the brain of the pilot and control the craft accordingly...SWEET!

This is soooo sleek. Really incredible work. The cockpit is awesome. I love the way the engines seem like a separate piece of the ship. I can't say enough. I really love this. |

More refinements to the wings (now with green trans pieces). And strengthened tail wings. |

The studless-ness to me is incredible! I love how cool the engines look out back and the blue to yellow transparent studs in the wings. It was a good call to put more yellow than any other color, it looks good. |

Yes this is the creation that completely converted wes to bricks over techic beams, for most building enjoyment. |
|
|
Actually, the fact that there's some colour variation makes this creation even better. |

Wow I am so grateful for all the compliments! Thanks! Just a side note, the fighter was built only using my existing brick inventory (thats why not everything was dark gray) so that made for another challenge. |

An excellent build. The shape of this ship is fantastic. I love the back end, especially the tail fins. You have accomplished some fantastic textures throughout. My favorite is the trans 1X1 round plates that you've used in the cut-out areas in the wings. Very creative use. Well done. |

Thanks for the compliments. Actually the competition is just between my friend and I. The Gray Ghost won the "Space Elegant Fighter" but the Raven lost the "Space Superiority Fighter". |
