About this creation

Created by the Andros Corporation in the year 2626, the AC0305-S is a support fighter for larger convoys and cruisers. Deployed in large numbers, these short range fighters make up for their lack of fire power and range by adding incredible speed and sheer weight of numbers to any attack formation.

Cheap to build and repair, they are the backbone of Earth's defences.

This was one of my many (many) LEGO doodles. I had no idea where I wanted to end up with this, I just had the idea for a fighter/star craft idea with a forward cockpit and a large multi-directional engine assembly.

Thoughts:

I'm about 80% happy with the results. LDD has limitations regarding closing up the holes in the hull, but over all, this is possibly one of my favourite fighter designs to date.

Scale wise it doesn't really fit with anything I've done before, as a single man fighter it is too large for the 25th Century Mech scale, but quite clearly too small to fit a minifig (probably).

Thanks Mark, and obvious a big thank you to Sean too. I'll try not to let power go to my head ;) (I'm kidding, what power?). For now, I'll carry on as I've always done, offering my googling skills for resolutions and links to where ever I feel the answer lies. Since some people might see my views as semi-official I'll have to play down the "well I say" posts, since actually I know I might have it backwards. I noticed I now have delete/editing powers for the comments going into the nanny filter. Any advice you can offer?
