Near Rivendell, two weeks after episode 2

About this creation

The three companions have become weary of their travels and see a sight they will never forget, Rivendell.

They are met by Elrond.

Elrond: Liam R'Mala it's good to see you! Is your father not with you?

Liam R'Mala: No we got seperated. He's not here?

Elrond: No. I am so sorry. Who are these?

Liam R'Mala: This is Lothar and Skargim.

Elrond: It is obvious that you are a Man-child but what are you?

Lothar: He's a Dwarf.

Elrond: A Dwarf? Aren't Dwarves supposed to have beards?

Liam R'Mala(In Elvish): Can we talk about this later? After we've rested.

Elrond(In Elvish): Of course. Follow me.

Elrond takes them to a room.

Elrond: It's good to have you back Liam, I'm sure your father would be proud of you.

Liam R'Mala: I hope so, I just wish I could have seen him one last time.

Elrond: I'll let you rest now.

Lothar and Liam soon fall asleep but Skargim is restless. He gets up and sneaks out of the city as quietly as possible for a Dwarf.

He is soon met by Elrond.

Elrond: Leaving so soon?

Skargim: Yes, I cannot find rest here. I must leave, the Crest is calling me elsewhere.

Elrond: Let me see the Crest.

Skargim produces the Crest.

Elrond: Hmmm. Very inter-

The Crest begins to glow and shrink.

It shrinks into a small square shape with an arrow.

Elrond: It's Black Magic!

Skargim: No, I think it's telling me where to go.

Elrond: Whatever you say. Good luck Skargim.

Skargim walks away.

In the morning Lothar and Liam R'Mala wake to find Skargim gone.

Lothar: That's strange, Skargim was always the last one up on the journey here.

Liam R'Mala: He probably couldn't sleep. Elves and Dwarves are natural enemies.

Elrond walks into the room.

Elrond: He left. He said he felt called elswhere.

Lothar: Well I hope he's alright.

Liam R'Mala: I'm sure he is. Remember how he handled himself in the battle with the Orcs?

Lothar: Yeah I guess you're right. Come on, let's get some breakfast.

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think I'm Ready for an Uruk-hai yet. The next episode I make will be set one year before the Fellowship of the Ring and so 18 years before Uruk-Hai. If this series goes over well (gets popular) then I will do one about Skargim's part in the War of the Ring. I could do an Orc General if you'd like, or I could wait till the next series. It's up to you.
