Caleb Anju's First MOCiversary!
Here it is! My first MOCiversary! First off I want to thank everyone for making this such a great first year, hopefully there'll be many, many more to follow! I am doing this MOCiversary for the day I joined up, which was the same day I posted my first creation. HOWEVER, I wasn't very active in MOCing, until around October 2011, which is when I realized how stupid I was. (What was I thinking?!?) Without further ado, let's get this show on the road!
About this creation

My first 2 MOCs were following the line of this custom series of Star Wars MOCs I made, the Shadowhawks , which was an alliance of ragtag rebels against the Empire, striking from behind the Empire's lines, during the Galactic Civil War. This is one of their transportation vehicles, the Cargo Carrier . I haven't gotten around to posting most of them yet...

Yet another Shadowhawk creation, an assault speeder.

This is the leader of the Shadowhawks, a fictionalized version of myself!

Another theme I love building to is Lord of the Rings. I simply love making custom minifies, and dioramas. This is my Sauron minifig, you can check him out here.

This is the battle of Mount Doom, a little diorama I made, I like how the lava looks. Excuse me for the terrible minifigs, but I built this almost a year ago, and back then a barely had any Castle minifigs, so pardon the horribleness of them.

Isildur!

One of my original buddy icons, this is one of my LOTR sig-figs, Darihiem, one of the warriors who rode alongside Farimir at the last attempt to retake Osgiliath, during the siege of Minas Tirith.

Another LOTR sig fig, Narilthrim, who comes from Mirkwood the great.

Now back to Star Wars. This is a massive attack freighter, which is a republic base. I never got around to posting it, so I decided to put it on here. It's so long I can't even fit it in one picture!

Stern of the ship, you can see the 3 turbo engines on the rear, and the motor mechanism designed to turn the middle one.

Motor mechanism.

Stairs to the bridge.

Plasma bomb turret.

The bridge.

The captain of the ship, discussing treaty matters with a renegade marksman, and a wookie.

Front of the ship, with bomb launchers underneath.

Now on to renaissance. This is a pirate vessel, theFlame Runner. A pretty simple build, but it looks okay nevertheless.

Front of the ship. I like the foreboding effect the skull and fire gives off.

Massive cannon.

Captain at the helm. I know, normally a ship would have the wheel at the back, where the rudder is, but this is a unique ship: It can also fly!

The main mast. Don't bother the fact that it doesn't have sails, it's like the Black Pearl: It don't need 'em!

Crew, with some wielding handmade clay weapons.

Captain. I made his sheath out of duct tape, I think it turned out okay, but it is a little sketchy at the scabbard part.

Clay nun-chucks;

Trident;

And massive slashing rapiers.

Okay, now let's compare that ship, to this one. It's hardly a decision. This is my custom pirate vessel diorama, the The Maelstrom Attack!

I am also the creator and director of the CYOA series, Demigod Adventures, which is due to start it's first season in May 2012.

I love anything to do with ancient Greece and mythology. This is Achilles, my favourite character in Greek mythology.

To let you know, I'm a semi-purist: I like to make custom accessories and minifig parts, but I never cut, erase, bend, or modify a LEGO piece in any way. My brother (not Ethan Anju), made this awesome Custom Goblin Head for me out of clay.

My only seasonal MOC so far, Merry Christmas!, which I think, is one of my best builds.

A random stormtrooper is getting on his speeder bike unknown there is a Shadowhawks assassin waiting in the undergrowth...

These where to minifigs I made, for when my grandmother passed away in January 2011, which represent my grandmother, and my grandfather. All they are are the Harry Potter Moly and Arthur Weasley minifigs, with only their hair changed, but they meant a lot. *sniff*

This is my favourite minifig from my group of Inkheart Characters I made, Dustfinger.

This is some random LOTR scene I made in literally like 10 seconds. I felt like using my dragon from Harry Potter. It is a shabby version of the battle of Penelor Fields, when Eowyn killed the Fell Beast, and the king of the Nazgul.

I just LOVE the dragon.

Eowyn chopping off the fell beast's head.

This is a little story I made outside in my yard, with my sig-fig. Enjoy!

One day, I was strolling through the forest, with my guitar (obviously).

(dududueuaeudueuauduau) (it's supposed to be music)

But little did I know...

That a viscous hoard of orcs and undead beasts were waiting in ambush!

As I walked by their hiding spot...

They lunged out and attacked!

I set my guitar down...

I drew my lightsaber...

And charged them into combat! A skeleton warrior charged at me, flail raised!

I easily dodged the blow, and hacked of his harm.

I than walloped off his head with a side blow.

I jumped to the side off another skeleton' head...

And landed behind him with a spin, chopping him in half.

An orc brigand lunged at me with a battle cry.

I easily sidestepped, and chopped off his arm.

I then quickly dispatched him with a blow to the back.

Then a skeleton centurion attacked me from the side!

I hacked it's axe in half, avoiding it deadly blade...

I quickly then finished him off with a blow to the gut.

I then turned and saw a mystical shade staring at me, beginning to work it's magic...

I raised my hand, and with a quick Force push,

I blasted him into a nearby tree, where his essence dissipated.

I then realized that I was about to be hacked to pieces by an undead corpse of an orc!

I then realized that I was about to be hacked to pieces by an undead corpse of an orc!

I turned, and lunged up the slope...

Grabbed his own axe, and with it...

Walloped off his head.

Seeing I there were no more enemies, I looked right,

I looked left

I sheathed my lightsaber,

Walked back to my guitar...

Picked it up, tuned it...

And continued on my way.

THE END

This is the size of the scene. The grey thing in the top right-hand corner, is the shade I blasted away with the Force. I hope you liked it!

This is my new buddy icon for this year, the dog to the side of me is my dog, Jasper. Another new aspect, is that I now have a sheath and broadsword, which describes the building phase I'm currently in.

Well, we come to a close, I would like to thank these people for making my first year a great one! Hopefully there'll be many, MANY more to come!

Blake Baer:Someone who never ceases to amaze me with his outstandingly gigantic scenes! SPEECHLESS

Ian Spacek:One of my favourite vignette builders, along with an excellent custom minifig creator.

Sorry if you are disappointed that you aren't on this list, it is probably because I don't know you well enough, I maybe forgot you, or you are too new to MOCpages. If I have forgotten anyone please remind me!

Well, this about wraps this up, thanks to everyone for making this first year as enjoyable as can be. I'm hoping to be here for many more, and I hope this next year will be just as good, if not better, than the last!

May the Force be with you.

Quoting Pedro Resendes Hey our MOCday differs by a day only, mine is tomorrow. Happy MOCday and thx for inspiring me to do something similar to celebrate one year on this magnificent world of lego and fantasy. May you build for many years. P.S.- When can we expect the beginning of the demigod adventures?
We still need to make our characters, so it will be around maybe about 2 weeks?
