Turaga Vakama Revamp
Yay! My first posted moc! :) Enjoy.
About this creation
Ok, I want to say first, that I'm sorry about the bad photos. I am currently working on building a better light-box.

With that out of the way, shall we continue? I have had this guy sitting around for almost a year. He is, to date, my longest lasting moc. Yet because he is posted, his lucky streak may end.

So, shall we look at some photos?

Here he is just standing. Being as, well, chubby as he is, he can be difficult to pose.

Let's take a 360 shall we? We shall start with his right side.

Now his back. It took me a while to get the hero armor to sit there just right.

Now for his left side. I know that that staff looks nothing like the original. But after trying for an hour to come up with a good staff, I gave up and went with this. Personally I liked this better anyway.

His shield/emblem. I put this on there because I had originally made most of the Turaga and wanted them all to have there own personal symbol.

A nice close up on the chest and head. I even put in a heartlight. For some reason, I'm never truly happy with my Bionicles if they don't have a heartlight. I'm not sure why, but I'm guessing it's just the habits of an old bio-mocer. (though I will be honest, it looks more like a gut-light...)

Vakama: Bye all!

Creators comments: Personally I think my skill has come up since I built this guy and I may one day revamp my revamp... if that makes any sense... Anyway, I originally made him as a matoran, but he came into his own as a mix of matoran and turaga.

Constructive criticism welcome. :)

Quoting Lego Builders Finally a MOC from you! I don't know much about Bionicles, but this looks pretty cool. Hope to see many more! -LB Senior
Haha, I'm not sure what you mean by finally, as I am relatively new here, but I appreciate your kind words, and I hope to be posting more soon. :)

Quoting StoveTop Creator Very nice... that little guy is packed with pieces! :)
Thank you, I tried to fill him with as much as possible. I figured it would make up for his chubby-ness :)

Quoting Terilis the Phantom Master Good job! You said you were novice. This isn't novice. At all. Excellent!
Thank you, I'm glad you like it. I still consider myself novice, as there is much room to improve, but I'm glad you think more than that. I appreciate your kind words :)

Quoting Chronos Omega Very interesting! If you remember, the original Turaga were thin and hunched, but the short and chubby look is cool too. :D
Si sir, I remember, in fact I probably still have one of them laying around here somewhere, but I as he was forming I opted against such a look. Thanks though, I'm glad you like it :)

Quoting Daniel Janči Very nice revamp. I really like design. I like how you you use Furno armor on his body. Arms are amazing. I like this body system how his legs are connected to his body. Good job. Keep it up!!!
