So there was this kid once, way back in the day, he used to go around naming cities after himself. Sounds like a plan.
About this creation
With three large projects currently stalled in various stages of incompletion, I figured I needed to change focus: think small. I've long been intrigued by the various microscale creations by talented MOCers out there, but this is my first foray into the microscale world. So welcome to the few square blocks at the north end of Shannonia's Oceanside Strip, famed in story and song...
The Shannonia Chamber of Commerce recommends starting your tour at the city's most striking visual landmark, the Honeybee Casino. To the left, the new Trancequility Club has quickly become the city's hottest nightspot.
"The Original Microcity" finally gets MOTD. Its only my dream for Blocktropolis to get MOTD, speaking of which, the new expansion is up if you want to check it out. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/141795 ~T

Did you worry about scale of buildings?
I do not. As long as each particular building looks good on its own and isn't too much out of whack with its neighbors, it's good enough for me. If it helps you to stick with a "1 stud = X feet or meters" formula, go for it. I can't build that way.
hello I am a member of the NPA red shade project. could I purchase this quadrent of shannonia to become the site of our breeding project. I will give you as many studs as you could possibly want.we will also need at least six voluntary microfigs to *ahem* feed to our
in case you do not know this a joke review
now for the serious review.
this is a magnificent micro city.
Not my scale, but it is an excellent job. You managed to cram an incredible amount of detail into the design - so much so that when I first looked at the thumbnail I thought it was a minifig scale design. Beyond good for your first attempt; however, if you keep setting the bar this high for yourself... Lee.
first attempt at micorscaling? Damn that s good!!!!i particularly like the yellow tower!it all looks very cool! check out my website i m a microscale maniac (and will be posting 2stud wide trains soon)
